Frida's Lovely chocolate velvet vocals or Agnetha's crystal clarity and range, I love either on lead but it makes the harmonies to die for. The guys did a great job of putting the right girl on lead for every song.
@@Muckylittleme These 2 incredible non-autotuned singers exploded the musicverse when they joined forces.Up to now NO Abba cover could overtake the original recordings imo.
@@MuckylittlemeYes, I like some of Cher's.Esp. on 'Fernando".She gave them another flavour.Btw I also like an unkbown cover of DQ from a male band called Rainy pleasure.
Hi. Just saw this today, and you had me rollin' with the Golddigger Anthem comment! In all the years I have been a fan, I never heard this song being described that way! Loved your reaction! Welcome to ABBA fandom!
Oh yeah, a lot of people say it sounds like "creepy carnival music", but that doesn't really tie in with the lyrics. But saying it sounds like a "heist"... I think you nailed it!
The irony of this song is when this came out ABBA were unstoppable with hit after hit single and number.1 albums. As a result the royalties were rolling in fast and furious. They wrote all their own material. They were the first to make a copywrite logo of their name with the first B turned backwards. At the time they were Swedens biggest export, pulling in more money than Volvo cars. The taxes in sweden were huge and although very wealthy they could have been even more so if they had chosen to live elsewhere. But all 4 band mebers said it was thier home and would never leave. They had built their own state of the art recording studio and Bjorn and Agnetha were raiseing a young daughter so it was never an option.
ABBA were in no way pulling in more money than Volvo. That myth was quashed many years ago. Polar Music was 5 people, Volvo was thousands. Polar was more profitable for the size of its workforce, but they didn’t make more money or more profit than Volvo.
Please check out Fernando for another great Frida lead or a great one would be a Bjorn lead vocal with Does Your Mother Know but you have to check out the double react of this with Hole In Your Soul Live at Wembley, the two together are insane.
Hello , so nice to see you again reaction to ABBA songs "Money money money" (1976) it is a very good song in a different musical style, cabaret type, set in another era "Money money money" is the single that followed "Dancing Queen" and reached # 3 in the UK, #1 in Australia and several European countries. It is a totally different song from its predecessor "Dancing Queen" and also from its successor "Knowing me knowing you" This is the versatility of ABBA, they go from genre to genre, as well as from success to success The song lends itself very well to the brunette Frida's lower voice, the choruses are sharper in contrast (and very catchy) The instrumentation is excellent The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative, it shows Them in fashion situations and also with their famous kimonos But a few months before ABBA premieres the new official lyric video of "Money money money" I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs My best regards to You from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America
Great song and reaction. Fridas vocals and acting shine here. She would have been a great bond girl many have said. I always preferred her sultry smooth vocals. So much easier to listen to. She's trained in jazz and opera. Another great lead of hers is one of their biggest hits "Fernando "
You're pausing way too much. And it took until the seventh pause for you to mention the music. I love your Abba reactions but it works best when you pause because you have something worthwhile to say. Also, I would say that Abba is not psychedelic. Possibly the opposite of psychedelic.
