I'm 71. Sat in front of the TV on 2/9/1964. Been hooked ever since. In exactly 59 days I'm flying from Chicago to London. I booked a hotel 1.5 miles from The Zebra crossing at Abbey Road. Took me 60 years, and I'm as excited as I was waiting for their first appearance on Ed Sullivan. Going to Liverpool for 3 days for all the sights there after 1.5 days in London. I booked the flight on July 12 of last year for $675 47 weeks in advance and over the course of the last 9 months have everything paid for except meals and Guinness. Just do it. It us possible. 🎉😊
Going to London in late September this will no doubt be on the site seeing list. it's amazing how one of the most famous recording studios is right in the middle of the city.
I was there on vacation last July. Took the tube from Westminster Bridge to near Abbey Road, the area is very unassuming, there weren’t too many people around the crossing. I walked across and my wife got a picture. We found the gift shop which was nearby and got a t-shirt. Being there is something I’ll never forget.
