It seemed to me that Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is baffled by media's attention she and her colleague ministers are getting daily on Nigeria affairs in general. In facts, she should be, because Nigerians desperate need for for change in their homeland. Madam, Ngozi, instead of publishing Nigerian agendas on internet or website, perhaps you should consider conducting an open policy, and invite reporters and medias to your office to witness bill signing or appropriate a fund to the public uses.
Dr. Okonjo-Iweala, while I agree with the "safety nets" principles, I disagree with the wealth "transfer" in the form of "redistribution" of wealth through subsidies. We must create wealth for the bottom of the pyramid too. Wealth creation should be the ultimate goal; not redistribution from one level of the pyramid to another.

but sir public infrastructure NEEDS to be privatised, in all the decades that NEPA/PHCN have been run by the government what real benefit have they provided the Nigerian people. There is no stimulus nor motivation for the government to improve and make efficient these infrastructure like there would be if privatised. in the latter case, if you do not perform..you're run out of business. it's as simple as that! shape up or shape out. we need more strategic privatisation initiatives in our country
