In an interview Joe Duplantier (singer guitarist of Gojira) said something I find really True and it's a kind of summary of your Journey into metal music. He said : "at first when someone Listen to Gojira's music He feels like it's mostly noise and it's a destructured music, but if that person give another Listen He begins to find a sense and a beauty to the music" (I tried to translate from french)

The outro starts about 8 minutes and 44 seconds into the song which means that the duration of the outro is aproximately 70 seconds. It depends on the person, but most people can hold their breath for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. On average 60-70 seconds.

The drummers name is Mario Duplantier. Remember the name. He’s quite possibly one of the greatest drummers of his generation. The band as a whole is fantastic. They are so special. Listen to The Gift of Guilt by them. It’s a veritable masterpiece.

Spiritualism has a huge place in their music. I'd say the nearest bands/artists to them would be Devin Townsend, Deftones and Tool. Not musically, but on what they aspire to pass on their music. It's not a musical point of view but it has a huge influence on what they sound like

I got really lucky and got to see them at red rocks amphitheater and it is still my favorite memory and will be for a long time. Just an incredible experience.

Definitely with the (Awoken) intro before it. It really adds to the song. There are few intros to songs in metal that really add, but this one is my number one... Really sells the punch when the song hits!

Whenever you get a chance Alex, this is my first time commenting here, but been watching for probably 2 years or so. There is a song called Outliers by Aviations. It is a long one, just a tad over 11 minutes, but it is literally one of the best songs I’ve heard in a long time. If anyone in the comments has heard it, like my comment.

Gojira makes me happy too, bud. Seeing them play live was an experience I'll never forget. You're right, their music is extremely heavy but there's an absolute beauty to it that I cannot wrap my head around, and I'm sure if I could it wouldn't be quite the same. Their music never ceases to surprise and delight me. One of my favorite bands.

I think there's an overlooked similarity between metal and hip hop; the emphasis on rhythm and bass lines, and as evident in this song, some aspects of the repetitive, not really tonal vocals. I think it's really cool!
