flaps overextended Sporasub America One shafts are maximum diameter of 7mm. This is not enough mass for good performance on the Denton 130. Need either an 8mm or 8.5mm shaft @ 160cm for good performance. Sigalsub, Hunt, Devotosub all make excellent shafts in 8mm and some in 8.5mm.
My most accurate long distance gun is a customized Abellan Albacore with 8.5mm shaft and 3 x 14.8mm bands. I have taken Wahoo and Tuna even at 8 meters distance from tip of gun. Great for super clear water where fish don't let you approach.
+LeJu2a Yes with an 8mm shaft @ 160cm, I use 2 x 14.5mm Sigalsub bands @ 360% or 2 x 14.5mm Primeline @ 380%. Even with an 8.5mm shaft @ 160cm 2 x 14.5mm Sigalsub bands work very well but for sure a 3rd band helps with the 8.5mm shaft.
Yes, i have seen all your tests! :-D this is crazy! Do you think 2x14,5 sigal @360% is too much on a 7,5mm@140cm shaft? Or do i need a longger one? My gun is a 115 but i prefer with short shaft. Thank
