Robson cannot survive this. Results and his tactics have been absolutely honking all season. You can see the squad is on its knees in terms of confidence and he is incapable of turning this round. It has to be said, however, that if you're going to lose a game, you want to lose it to a strike like that. The lads touch was impeccable and the finish was top drawer.

Cracking goal from Killie. Aberdeen again not converting chances in a game they dominated top to bottom otherwise. Not that Aberdeen should be needing to rely on these things, but surely there were multiple VAR fails again. Watkins red card (or lack thereof) and pens, hurting Aberdeen. Got to win it themselves in the end though.

This is extremely suspicious from the SPFL in relation to the Miovki disallowed goal. 1) In the first still the ball has already left Clarkson's foot so it is invalid. 2) For the 2nd one with the line drawn Clarkson is not even in it. Milliseconds make the difference on whether a player is offside or not, so that is not knit-picking - the clear & obvious error test is not met to interfere and chop off a goal. Miovski might have been offside but those pictures are a joke so there is no clear & obvious error with those nonsense images. Dave Cormack & Barry Robson have every right to be seething.

Are you kidding? The guy is offside even before Clarkson begins his run up and at no point does he come onside. If you're not happy with where they paused it then pause it yourself and use the < and > keys to find the point where you think he kicks it. But it doesn't matter because he's offside the whole time.

My point is that whether he was off or not is not the point, and I'm not trying to take anything away from a great win for Kilmarnock, but that there has not been conclusive evidence provided of this - the fans haven't been provided with clarity on it. This nonsense of providing garbage pictures like that can't continue.

I suspect Aberdeen will find a bit of form and consistency come the new year, whether it will still be under Robson, who knows? It’s funny how sides outwith the bigot brothers crave European football but it always seem to take it’s toll on them domestically, it’s a tough balancing act with even just the qualifiers early doors so making the group stage was always likely to effects Aberdeens performances in the league

5 pts at home all season is NOT entirely down to Euro football. There is some validity to what you say but I would counter the majority of the teams Aberdeen have faced after a Euro game should've been well withing their capabilities to win.

Robson knew we were having group stage football this season, in May(before last season had finished). He went out and rebuilt the squad in preparation for playing on two fronts. His problem is, he hasn't utilised the squad. He should've been making 3, 4 or even 5 changes from the Thursday to Sunday, instead he preferred to make excuses every other week (Players are tired, they're leggy,we've been travelling all over Europe, we played Hacken 3 months ago...etc...etc). I notice now, in post match interviews, he wants to make excuses, but he stops himself and turns it round to 'i don't want to make excuses, that's not what i'm about'...Well, it very clearly is what he's about, as that's all he's relied on all season.

Aberdeen have earned €3.998million from the European round so far, despite not winning a single match. That's just prize money, not allowing for tickets, sponsorship and concessions. One win is worth €500000 at group stage. The latest figure I can find for spfl title is £3,350,000 (€3.906million, although admittedly this is from 2019). So, as to why clubs lust for Europe: more money than they can realistically win domestically. Financially, qualifying for Europe and then just about hanging on is a better decision than doing well in the league but not qualifying.

I’d LOVE to see Aberdeen relegated like they should have been in 2000. The team is a disgrace to their fans, who, by the way were noted in their absence last night.

The problem is they're paying ridiculous wages, (third highest in the league by a mile) on absolute trash, Hayes should be in the lower leagues, Mcgrath relegated with dundee utd.. shows his level and Duk appears for one game a season

Duk has underperformed. Agree. But McGrath? What you on? As for Hayes, he doesn't earn all that much anymore, compared to pre and post celtic peak. Remember he voluntarily took a large paycut early Corona days and I don't remember any other talk of new contracts. He has been a great servant and still has his moments.
