I know it myself since I use to work for the Department of Chemical and Nuclear Engineering at University of New Mexico's where this nuclear reactor was located. However, that was not my area of expertise, hence it was of no use. I was just working there as a webmaster. After I got a research assistantship in my own department, I stop working for them. The only thing I remember about that building was that there was a Dunkin Donut/Baskin Robbins across the street.
It's not a failure ,if we could mass produce Thejas, it will help industry and force . But we should consider Thejas as what it is , not what it supposed to be
Two main reasons why Tejas got delayed: 1. Sanctions after 1998 Nuclear tests 2. NDA govt's remissals in cohoots with gunrunners and corrupt IAF officials and communist HAL managements wanting to buy foreign fighters As to AIM's repeated 'India operationalizes 4th gen fighter after US retires it's 5th generation fighter': 1. US is the principal war technology innovators in the world with a legendary chronology often bankrolled by conflicts abroad for past 100 years. India is a Passive, Non-Alignment centric peaceful nation , notorious for its ambiguous identity, brittle socio-cultural demographics, corrupt politico-bureaucracies (AIM's parents being part of it), starting to build itself advanced weapons merely 30 years ago. 2. Tejas was conceived as something else, developed as something else, modified as something else and ended up as something else (no matter how good it is). 3. We dont actually know how good US stealth planes are nor do we (/AIM) knows how well our incumbent fighter (AMCA) is in comparison to it. 4. How is it off wrt the requirements we have. 5. We dont need 400 - 500 Tejas jets, it's more of a point defence fighter that has morphed into a 4.5 generation multirole fighter. The next Marque is also on the way and together their number will touch 300 which is more than sufficient. Also Tejas was the terra firma on which the resurgent fighter aviation initiative in India has been grown on,,,,,, it's fine if a better version of it also appears after it and that gets taken forward (Mk2) So ask him to stop being a princess...!!!!
Because private sector was never incentivised to invest in defence sector. Please check ITER project and L&T contribution in this project. Governments of past used defence deals with foreign weapon manufacturers to earn from kick backs.
See Abhijit. It take 2-3yrs to design a new phone for a new company. But it just take hardly 2-3months to make a later version. All you do is use better components. You don't need to study what to place where, how big the phone should be. You already get the blueprint.
@@WhipRunner They can't catch-up today. Just as i said it take years to make an Initial product. But doesn't take much time to make later product based on the base and experience from first project.. So it's dumb to compare that If it took 40yrs for tejas then it will take 80yrs for AMCA. Tejas MK2 went into metal cutting lastyear and prototype will come in end of this year or next year. It's like 3-4yrs since tejas MK-2 was announced.
13:05 If numbers made superpowers then mosquitoes would be the dominant species on earth. That is a good point. Superpower does not always mean prosperity IMO
While I agree on most of the things Abhijeet says, I have to say that the decision to develop much of the tech in-house by India was a consequence of the sanctions imposed on us after the nuclear tests we conducted. That being said, we did indeed waste a lot of years on that, even after the sanctions were lifted.
Please take about the Carbine deal next time, the CARACAL deal is now cancelled and the army is going for a fresh tender. Does SSS and Kalyani etc. have competent products to compete in the fresh tender?
Sir every thing is wonderful just one error on abhinav's part.. since u r discussing so much technical.... We r not supposed to capture kashmir.. we are supposed to free it from Pakistan .. or regain it back... That should b the technical term... 🤠
We shouldn't compare us with USA we should compare us with alien who can time travel then we will know we are 2 Million years behind HOOOO!!!! we shouldn't exist we are so behind
Are yaar bhaar mei jao, sala 80s mei USSR ki chhat rhe the to Technological Embargo laga, first try tha,1998 mei sanction laga,pr tumhaari bhakchodi abhi bhi chaalu hai......AIM se Defense related news mat krvao Abhinav ji,a humble request 🙏🙏🙏
Are Bhaiya 1970's 80's mei situation aur bhi jyada kharaab thi, ab vo sanctions lagte bhi hai to bhi Biden Clinton,Bush, Obama aur Trump ki mehnat ko kharaab nai kr sakta..... Jyada dikkat naa hogi ab. Pr hume mainly Jet Technology chahiye joki hum Saffran se bhi le sakte hai. Rolls Royce to saale US ke bootlickers hai lekin Saffran is French and France has and will stand out of the league......... Iss AIM ke hisab se to hume keval F A 18 khareed lena chahiye 400,500 bas. .... Baaki sab maa chudae......Jo debate aaj kr rhe hai vo 30 saal baad bhi krte rahenge...... Jhaantu sala
@@rebeccadesilva8772 Are vo lease pr lie jaa sakte hai and that is fine jab tak TEDBF na bankr tayaar ho jaaye pr according to AIM hume to sab kuch US se le lena chahiye......Keval bashing krte raho. Iske muu se kabhi LCH ya Dhruv helicopters ki taareef suni hai ? Nai kyunki ye ek dalaal hai. Bhai kisi bhi ecosystem mei paisa aur time dono lagta hai. Pr nai isko to alag hi sanak sawaar hai
