Thanks. I just recount stories on my channel, and was instructed to buy Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation which comes with Ableton software. Seems a little complicated for someone just reading stories using Focusrite. Just recording my voice might not need Ableton, unless I'm wrong. I have used Auadacity to record my voice which seemed to work okay, but my former interface was really cheap and didn't have a great audio. My friend told my that Focusrite was cool.
Hey. I dont think its that much more complicated than any other DAW. All of them initially feel a bit complicated but once you get of the initial learning curve they are all quite straightforward. This video will help you get upand running and any other questions just holla!
Unfortunaly no, you need an audio interface to record an audio signal in. You can use the built in mic on your computer but the quality wont be that great.
Thanks foe Vedio. its really informative and useful. Just I have one question I am using interface of persons and Ableton live lite in Mac. But after all setting I am unable to hear voice in headphones during recording. In setting what Audio input and output showing only "MacBook Air microphone for input and output". Can you please help me?
Hey thanks for the comment! Just check the audio interface is all connected correctly :) check audio settings and select the audio interface and the audio in and out. If it doesn’t show in your audio settings it might need a driver. What interface are you using
