About Grandpa Ron and his EV Quest for a Model Y 

I applaud you move to solar. I am retiring soon, and am leaning towards a Model Y myself, though I am planning on moving after retirement, so solar is out. BTW, I too had identical mower problems, used Stabil, fresh gas, fuel injection cleaner, etc. No luck. Finally ran into a story in my newspaper, where a reporter had the same problem, as did his neighbors, so he talked to the owners of three small engine repair shops. Combine like 90 years experience on small engines. All three of them said the exact same thin: The small engines cannot handle the Ethanol blended gas. So, I switched my small gas can to all-gas, with double strength Stabil, and while nothing starts on the first pull, it never takes more than 2-3.

The other Ron here-Good to hear your "Y" is soon to be there. Last Friday, I went with my friend to pickup his "Y". It's very similar to our Model 3's which I still look forward to driving every time I get behind the wheel.

Ron, I like how you think, I currently own a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid to save gas. I love using technology to get rid of dependence on oil. I will be very interested in seeing your projects develop. Hey Ron, I'd really like to have an electric vehicle and Tesla's technology is really great. I want to buy a new car and I'm thinking of a model Y. Based on what you've learned and experienced with your model Y would you buy a tesla if you had it to do over again? I'd love to hear your opinion if you'd care to respond. have a great day! Bill
