So in Mossbag's latest video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cJYmAKF0f4g.html where he debunks MatPat's video on Hollow Knight, many people in the comments seem to be confused when Mossbag says that the Knight and the Pale King are seen together in the Birthplace scene. They then point out that it's the Hollow Knight standing next to the Pale King, not the Knight. This is correct. Mossbag knows this. He was talking about how the Knight is holding on to the ledge in this scene, while the Hollow Knight and the Pale King are standing on the platform. There are three people in this scene, not just two.
Well the way I interpreted it was that the pop cutscene is where PK shows thk that it's sacrifice would save such a great kingdom. This cutscene shows that thk was actually not hollow. Thk looks back at you but if it tried to help you it would have been discarded like rest of the vessels so it just leaves you and goes with PK. Prob wrong but my interpretation
Does anyone else think this should have been an actual cutscene like when you meet Hornet in the City of Tears? Or would that have just been even more confusing for first-time players?
@@foldingpapers5574 come on, mat pat's theory about pale king being the knight has amassed almost 2 million views, you never know who's joking or who's actually coming up with wrong info xD
