it's a joy tp see young people enjoying Angelina's music. I went thru so many music genres throughout the years, and EDM was my go-to music while in college. never thought I would ever listen to Angelina giving this genre a try. I was literally shocked when I first knew about this song. I loved it. she did a great job here. she can do no wrong. I really wish she will sneak this one in her next jazz album, just to upset the apple cart. hahaha.

The song was released on Jan. 31, 2020 just after her appearance on AGT: The Champions, so I'm guessing she recorded it when she was still 13, but she was 14 when it was released. Thank you for using the original video instead of one of the other 2 fan made videos, as TRXD ( an EDM duo) gets the views they deserve, and they know Angelina fans appreciate the music. I enjoyed your reaction and giving this song a listen, as I feel it is overlooked for as good as it is. I also enjoyed seeing YOU enjoy the music. "I'm still holding out for you" is my choice of the two newer one's she sings. Shame it could not be on her upcoming Debut album. It could become a cult classic! Word is she is about to do a concert, time, and place unknown. It would have to be outdoors to be safe.

I don't think you've heard this song since it was written & performed by TRXD Featuring AJ on vocals when she was around 14. So this is the original. It's a perfect dance song in the EDM genre. Another original of Angelina's that you haven't done is A Song For A. It was written by Russian composer Nico Cartosio specifically for Angelina, hence the title. The lyrics are taken from an 18th Century poem & it's the last track & only vocal on his instrumental album titled Melted. The comments before me suggest Song for A and I will survive (Gloria Gaynor) - two songs that you really need to react to - Song for A - a very classical style, I will survive - very much old style disco! If you mean more songs like this then yes she really could but she is also a true jazz queen so I would personally want her to just bring jazz and make it the music of the younger generation 😊
@@venicerealm I certainly agree with that view, VM. There is one problem, though, and I must make it clear that this is my opinion and many others may vehemently disagree with it. The listening public, in general, have been presented with awful music for a long time and have come to accept it as the benchmark for how music should sound. Many modern singers, even if they have little talent, have been heavily promoted by the record companies and that volume of promotion has catapulted them to fame, even though they are, for the most part, "one dimensional". There is no doubt in my mind that Angelina has been ready "for the world" for many years. Her versatility and talent is beyond doubt. But "is the world" ready for Angelina?
