For sure it's definitely a place to check out if you are around. It's a cute little walk or drive around a nice cemetery, and then this. Let me know if you ever get to go. Always great to hear from you Colleen, hope all is well!.. Putting a small video out on Memorial Day of my cemetery. We did a lot of work installing a ton of flags. Hope to hear from you then!
I was literally thinking about you and there you are posting a video! Love it! I’ve been to Springfield, IL. but never been to this burial site, thank you for the tour Grim! ps. Ya gotta love screaming kids 😜
Hahaha, I'm not a huge fan of screaming kids. Mine are very well behaved so I'm not used to it lol. Especially in a place that echoes so much! If you ever go through Springfield again, definitely check it out. It's for sure beautiful place, as well as the surrounding cemetery.
What a cool place. Just noting the dates of Lincoln's kids, it's sad to see that three of them died so young. Maybe that was partly why Mary Todd Lincoln suffered from depression? And yet Robert lived to be 82. Just read on Wikipedia that Robert and his mom were estranged until just before her death. Alot of sadness in that family. Wow, one doesn't realize what a family goes through. Abe was a hell of a president. Nice visit Grim, thank you so much!
Incredible input. I thought the exact same thing about the age and what kind of toll it would take on Mom. I know it's not abandoned, but I couldn't skip it. And yeah, you never know the sadness that a family has gone through, which is probably every family at some point. Losing my daughter before she even reached 5 months was the worst part of my life.. And I've been through quite a bit. I'm really glad you enjoyed it Sheena, always awesome to hear from you. The team talks about you multiple times a week, just an FYI. We all hope you are doing great LOL.
Hi Grim This place was cool. I really liked it. I wonder why one of Lincoln’s son is buried in Arlington cemetery and not with the rest of the family. It is very interesting. I never saw where Abe and his wife and family is buried. See you found something good and interesting to video. Thank you for sharing.👍😊♥️💕. Stay safe and well.
Thanks a bunch Irene, always great to hear from you. Arlington is known for having prolific soldiers buried there, so I'm not sure if it has something to do with that or not. Seems a little sad for them not all to be together, but ultimately it's their say. Working at a few cemeteries, I've heard so many odd stories. Witnessed a few things also.. Really hope you enjoy the video even though it was a shorter one.. Next one is something abandoned. My team is working on editing now. So next week it will be my normal stuff... You are the first one that I saw commenting, so I'll let you know a little bit about it. It's a motel in Indiana that is completely vacant. It seems repetitive with all of the rooms being stacked with stuff or just graffitied, but I hope you enjoy it either way.. Praying you are doing good, my friend.
@@grimstravels3416 It’s not the length of time a video runs but it is the content. Your videos are always interesting. I think I told you that once before. Believe it my friend.
