Abraham was called out of the 70 nations listed in Gen.10 to be a blessing to the whole world. The Abrahamic Covenant was one that blessed the Gentiles.
Make sure you don’t forget to submit a question for the upcoming interview with Dr. John Oswalt! I will try to include yours if possible. Thanks! Don’t forget to Like, comment, and subscribe!
I just saw an interview with him, as the Professor we have coming on later this year had him on his channel. A question for him, is how does he counter all the bible is a myth garbage that has really taken a spike (consider Mythvision channel went from like 10K to 200K in just a few years)
Thanks Spencer, very compelling especially the idea of covenant over blood. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness. And beginning with Moses and the prophets Jesus said they all spoke about Him - Luke 24. Praise His Mighty name He is able to save all who come to Him in faith. Strength and prayers. Love br. David - Canada.
So true. Those scriptures come to mind from the OT. There are many that say something like, any foreigner who resides among you is to be treated as one native-born. It was never about a person's DNA.
@@SLS859 He's IO, just give him this verse and say thanks for the debate- Psalm 86:9-All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And they shall glorify Your name.
@@flamingswordapologetics I know exactly who he is! Here is a Psalm of David before the divided kingdom. “All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Yahweh, And all the families of the nations will worship before You. For the kingdom is Yahweh’s And He rules over the nations.” Psalm 22:27-28
@@flamingswordapologetics you understand that the Hebrew word for nations in Ps 86:9 is 'goy', which can refer to physical descendants of Abraham, even Israelites.. don't you?
