I agree 100%, you hit the nail on the head with the “There’s so much Yorick can do that no other champion can.” This is especially true in the Jungle. I didn’t really register just how much Yorick can push three lanes at the same time (something entirely unique to him) until picking up Jungle, I used to play so straightforward and linearly. I dropped my Herald top with my fed Illaoi, dropped maiden bot and went mid with my team and we took three towers at the same time, and 4 in total thanks to your build. I think this has reignited my passion for Yorick and changed why I love him and honestly, I kinda wish for a timeline where Yorick was built more to Jungle. Not that he doesn’t work well now, just cool to imagine. It fees like playing chess or a grand strategy game, and I love it. Thanks for opening my eyes to it.
This is amazing! As a JG Zyra player since season 9 I love cheesy jg clears with pets and am definitely going to learn Yorick jg now. Now I'll play Zyra,Mundo,Zed,Amumu, and Yorick for my champ pool
@@Cerberus-ff2jt It’s actually really frustrating because it slows the proc time on it by half since it has to travel back and forth. If there was a way to find out how to keep it at one location, it would be 100x better.
@@NinetalesOCE so if I understood this correctly, you would either prefer A) the pet stays with the ghouls in combat as they are clearing the camp, and will only engage with camps you remain in combat with until they are cleared. Or B) the pet is geographically locked to be in proximity to you as the jungler and only fight units in proximity to you. Personally I like A more, but B sounds easier to implement
@@Cerberus-ff2jt It's probably better for our jungle clear if it stayed near Yorick - definitely. 4 ghouls can solo gromp, and having yorick be able to aoe the raptor camp would increase our clear speed by a lot. That being said, i have no intention of trying to get it addressed. I think it could just make it worse with some attempt at a bug fix lol
Don't worry I also vomit everywhere when I play Yorick. But no for real Yorick jungle is great and I'm having a great time as a Yorick main. I still prefer Grudge over cleaver and I started dropping profane again and going Axiom, literally having a less than 30 sec maiden CD so I can drop her even if I know she going to get countered in a lane and go for objective.
I've actually been trying to find a way to make axiom arc work without having to go lethality early. The only solution i've come up with is once you do my build and get to 5 items, you can replace cleaver with grudge and 6th item the axiom arc. By that time, the health isn't going to make a whole big difference - if you get caught, you die anyway. I think it might be good but i've yet to try it.
@@NinetalesOCE I usually do it 4th I think. My normal build order now is Shojin, ash, boots, grudge, finish liandre, Axiom and finish off with radiance. I run all haste i can even jack of all trades. I don't think I'm exagerating when I say my maiden is like 29 sec CD with ultimate hunter stacked so I can literally drop maiden in bot lane and if she gets killed walk straight up top and drop here there right away. I know you like your cleaver and yes it's more hp but as a "caster" Yorick playstyle I feel grudge is better after last buffs and I also very often play against Lillia and other speedy champs where if you land an E with grudge it prevents them from kiting.
League players: FF the game at minute 5 League content creators: FF the VoD at minute 5 You can always delete them later if they turn out bad, no need to stop them in the middle of recording.
I used to have the issue with herald as well. However, when you get in just left click with the arrow the direction you want to go. If you don't click it pulls your camera and the arrow goes the opposite way.
@@jordanconfer1440 Yeah! I think my problem is im not sure if my right click has actually worked on the herald, so i keep the mouse on it until i see the animation - and by that time it’s too late.
Blackfire is a hard no, unfortunately it doesn't do enough damage to champions to warrant the purchase. The second ap item will also transfer our adaptive force to magic based, which isn't always a bad thing though. I've debates riftmaker which is probably your best second ap item. I like the concept of eclipse, but because of the way ghouls are coded, maiden will never be able to activate eclipse in a side lane push so it doesn't really work unless Yorick is there. The best final purchases are GA and hollowed radiance, so your final build will look like: Shojin, boots, cleaver, liandrys, hollowed and GA.
Yup worked it out. It works cut down works on comet, and the value shown in the damage stats is not factoring in the amplification. So cut down will always affect comet, regardless of damage type, and the numbers are 100% accurate.
@@JeremyLam0 So initially legend:haste used to work on the maiden cooldown, now it no longer does. But it's still 15% ah which is still really good, i think its just as good as alacrity.
I think a few of my recent videos covered items, but right now just take Cleaver > Shojin > Liandry’s > Hollowed radiance > GA as a bread and butter every game and you’ll get results. The rest comes down to how you play the game itself and your decision making.
