I think some people don't trsut our knowledge of car washes. We might seem like we don't know what were talking about but dang if we can fix a minor problem and know the photo eyes detect cars they maybe we do know what we are talking about
Yeah but still not a smart idea to open control cabinets or walk up to machinery that isn't yours. You can be held liable for damages to the equipment if something happens, and say those changes result in damages to another vehicle. It would 100 percent be your fault. Better to just inform the operator of the wash so it could be fixed accordingly.
I don't think you're supposed to just walk around in there outside the car while this is in operation. that can't be safe. and I don't think any injuries would be covered by insurance. Do you own the place or why didn't the attendant stop you from exiting your car? surely there must be video cameras.
I am very familiar with how this equipment operates. It should go without saying that you shouldn’t be around moving equipment without knowing exactly how it’s going to behave, however I have years of experience with these machines. Holiday doesn’t really care if I’m around the machine, even when they’re watching they don’t care. I know the service guys that take care of these machines, and the managers of a few stores. What I am doing in this video is very safe as long as you know exactly how the machine will behave. I appreciate your concern.
The buzzing now has seen the car. Point blank the buzzer essentially means nothing because it can’t sense the wheel. When you move forward the eyes tell the wash when to start. 7:37 That photo eye barely caught it and then once you inched forward you engaged the photo eye. No matter what you just have to ignore it telling you to stop.
Oh hey, I've been there before! It was still an XS(or an XS²? I'm not sure.) when I went through it though, which was back in... I think either 2017 or 2018?
@@dvonthompson4948 No you have to go up far enough so the eyes register. They shouldn’t be buzzing for no reason. Explaining the malfunction is due to the photo eye not picking up the wheel. If you get a car wash In a Ryko machine make sure you line up correctly.
