The Millennium Tower component, which symbolises the unity and strength of the Nigerian state is a 170 metre structure in height, and stands on three concrete cylinders that carry a revolving Panoramic Restaurant and Belvedere (Viewing Platform) at 110 metres above the ground. It shall dominate the skyline of Abuja and the rays of its powerful laser spot lights are designed to be seen more than 50 kilometres from the city centre. This complex which is still under construction is located in the central business district of Abuja, between the National Mosque and the National Christian centre. The millennium tower is the future cultural center for Abuja.The last FCT minister did invite investors to manage the car Park which in his words is already completed.With what I saw I think They did get some investors to manage the place.The place is under FCDA.
The place is not complete if it’s was they would finish the hotel and the tower won’t still be with those irons hold the tower. The former minister only went there with some people and made that statement to calm down the video a journalist did of the tower and tagged it “abandoned projects “ that got the attention of the who is who that was involved and they immediately tried to cover up. No investors are there, every worker there is from Abuja municipal council
That other building is not a hotel, it's the cultural center. The full name is millennium tower and cultural center. Yes, the last time work was done was when Jonathan left. During Yaradua and Jonathan, the pace of work was really fast. Buhari didn't see it as a priority, unfortunately.
@Abujatour lol...we are not fighting, I just wanted to make a correction, he's not too big to make a mistake you know. The other building is the cultural center, hence the name "millennium tower and cultural center" been following this project from inception. The hotel and restaurant are in the round plate up in the tower. That building is meant to house art, galary and other stuff like museum.

Even the person That requested for the tour mentioned it before I went there and when I got there, the persons there mentioned it’s a hotel, they know the story of the place, to be a manager of a place shows you know your onions
Sometimes, I wonder what Buhari and his team of embezzlers did in Abuja for 8 solid years. They left many key projects uncompleted to accumulate unnecessary debts for the country. Yet, the northern Patriots don't see any reason to call this man and his fellow criminals out for judicial probe and public shaming. The country is going to lose a lot financially by reviewing the contract terms and cost which sometimes leads to rescaling to minimise cost. It diminishes the original plan and design of these projects by removing one or two vital components that would have served multidimensional public utility purposes. Too bad for my dear country.
