Very immersive track. I can hear the motif from the AbyssStride trailer in there, pretty cool. Even to this day you remain as the best composer I ever had a (somewhat) direct contact with. At least by my composition standards (which revolves more about harmony and catchy melodies).
The Ninty’s Showcase yesterday made me think of you and how you were doing. Lo and behold, you upload some fantastic music. Glad to see the new uploads.
Hey NS3K, is AbyssStride still coming out? On the Steam Greenlight page says it was supposed to have come out Winter 2017 or so. I hope you're doing well man. Can't wait to play any of your stuff!
I intend to get this game released and that much won't change. There's a good chance it won't release by the end of this year because the last thing I want to do is rush on such a project, let alone other matters I've been having to bounce back and forth with. AbyssStride is already a strange game in the sense that it doesn't really fall into any established genre, which is part of what makes this project engaging to work with and also why I'm being extra cautious about its development.
Whatever happened to this anyways? Did you ever get this up on Steam cause I think Greenlight was in the verge of shutting down around the time you initially submitted this.
Thankfully, I underwent the majority of the digital paperwork regarding Steam Direct earlier this year. All that's left is to finish the game. It appeared our submission was accepted in time, before Greenlight was officially taken down, but I believe Steam Direct technically makes it easier for developers to submit a game -- so long as you can afford to pay the submission fees. Community involvement/voting is no longer required, for one.
I've had very similar suggestions from many others but I haven't thought that far into it, since I have more than enough to keep up and plan for as of now. I know for sure that Forever will still be a freeware game.
I've had thoughts about Ko-fi but still need to do my research on the service. Patreon would simply be too taxing for me to uphold and would introduce a much different mindset on how I approach development; it would be taxing on me to have that sort of consistent commitment.
@@NessStar3000 I figured patreon might not be an issue. With Ko-Fi there's not a whole lot of harm so long as you're not offering sketches or anything in return (for your workload I mean), and it means hopefully a couple bucks now and then. I hope everything goes well for you this year!
