Both my ACs work good but I'm putting in a window unit because they are 24yrs old and I don't want to have to replace them. On this ducted Class A MH it's a lot cheaper to use a $225 window unit than whatever a new roof unit might cost. It's also easier for a hillbilly to take out and clean. Lol 🤣🤣
Hopefully it ran decent after the cleaning. They need to install an air filter to keep the debris out of the coil. Thanks for the Video, Kenny. Have a good weekend.
Good job Kenny! Yeah, I was at a campsite where I couldn't get my AC compressor to kick on and was blowing warm air. I checked the voltage at the pedestal and it read 100. No wonder. Checked when I got home using my generator and the AC was fine.
Great job Kenny hard to clean one from the inside like that tight spaces. I checked mine at least there were two months and I got micro filters on the cover. Have a great day in West Virginia.
If you are doing it yourself it is worth going up top and getting to the evaporator and condenser to clean and wash down. Not easy, but not hard either. The hardest part is if you are going to spray water at the end of spraying that cleaner is the preparation so water does not go down into the rv. The difference in the end result even if it is not filthy is that your ac will seem brand NEW!! Just did mine!
My air conditioner has the blower on and the thermostat won't turn it off. To turn it off I have to turn off the breaker. And the heater is blowing hot air and to turn it off I have to remove the Furnace fuse because the thermostat won't turn it off either. Which relay do you think could have been damaged, or should I change the board?
I didn't see any filter where the air intake is. If there wasn't one that would explain all the dirt. I guess people like paying your hourly wage than buying a $5 filter.
