Regarding Brian Johnson's voice and age at the time of this concert. Johnson was 62 when this recorded, and if memory serves, most of this is from the final night of a 3 day gig. He can be forgiven for being a little raspy.
4:00 Actually in a documentary Brian Johnson admitted that he can't that much. He said mainly because of his hearing. He can't hardly hear his ownself sing. He's basically deaf.

River Platte Stadium ( Estadio Más Monumental ) was built in the mid to late 1930's. It's home to soccer (football) matches and other things. Over the years many popular musical acts and bands have made this stadium a stop on their world tours. Argentina has what might be described as a voracious appetite for hard rock music in general. The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Ramones, INXS, Guns N Roses and many others have had concerts in this venue. The record attendance for this stadium is around 100,000 people but because of stage setups like shown here, you cant have people sitting behind the stage or off to the extreme left or right. This takes the attendance down to about 70,000 for concerts like these. They played over 3 nights, so about 200,000 people in TOTAL saw them during those 3 December nights in 2009. I'm sure the ground was shaking around the stadium those 3 nights. Hard to say what the Richter Scale reading would have been. 4.8 maybe??!! Who knows.

If you got the chops do the song “Let There Be Rock” from the River Plate concert December 2009. Angus does damn near 16 minutes of kicking ass guitar work and a solo in the air. Granted it is a longer video than most to get by the censors but the time flys and it’s probably their greatest performance of all time even if they were considered old after all these decades. Nothing is the same anymore. Rock, Rap, Blues...it's just not the same anymore. There is such a lack of soul in music anymore. Sure, there are exceptions here and there, but for the most part it all seems so corporate and manufactured. Maybe it's just my age.
@@MSgt_0699 I get what your saying but theirs genres out there that are good I feel like when you listen to songs that listen to before It holds a special place in your heart that when you hear songs now it doesn’t feel the same but I could be wrong like for me I respect every generations music from the 70s and up great songs and now when it comes to rap i agree back then it was good the rest when it comes to rock till this day is really good and country but I feel like it depends what u grow up on that holds a special place in your heart
In my opinion modern rap has some great production & art direction but the lyrics & culture depreciate it’s potential. Some of the rare songs where I’ve felt that the lyrical value lived up to the production value was Ugh by bts, and some of their other projects. (although it’s in another language and you gotta watch a translation to fully grasp the meanings) From what I see of R&b is usually quite genre-mixed so it’s hard for me to judge, but JMSN makes some great modern r&b / soul music. Lana Del Rey is a pretty unique noir-pop artist. Her lyrics can be great although sometimes I do need to turn my brain off while listening to some of them. Everyone has different opinions though! 🤷♀️
