AC versus DC coupled battery system  

Up until the last few years most home storage solutions, not off-grid solutions were primarily focused on AC-compliant battery back up, such as Tesla Powerwall 2, Franklin Wh, and Enphase Battery. But in the past few years, as storage became more and more affordable, it seems like the industry is shifting towards DC coupled or what is called hybrid solutions.
