A review of Academy Model's, 1/48 scale, F-117A Stealth Fighter, Kit No. 2118, released in 1999. Also re-released in 2010, under Kit No. 12219 "Nighthawk - Last Flight (Special Edition)" (New Decals), and again, in 2013, under Kit No. 12265 "F-117A" (Re-Box only).
Featuring optional closed, or open, bomb bay, and undercarriage bays, this kit comes with pre-tinted canopy, detailed cockpit, including ejector seat, detailed bomb bay with 2 x Paveway III GBU 27A bombs, an F-117A painting guide, and a decal sheet with USAF low-visibility markings.
With a minimum parts count, and painting requirements, this kit would be suitable for modellers of all experience levels.
