Christian Bale gained 45 pounds, shaved his head, bleached his eyebrows and exercised to thicken his neck for his role as Cheney. Bale said he achieved his hefty physique for the film by eating a lot of pies. Christian Bale claimed this was the first time he used a nutritionist to help with weight gain, as he was more concerned with maintaining his health than when he was a younger man. Sam Rockwell's biggest physical concern was George W. Bush's "lip forward" method of speaking. He requested prosthetic in the mouth region, in addition to the entirely prosthetic nose he wore for the film.
I can’t believe Bohemain Rhapsody got SAG nomination for Ensemble Cast over this acting class of a movie. I’m rooting for Amy and Christian to win their Oscars.
Yes please!!! imagine Chris Nolan directed Michael Mann's HEAT remake starring Bale as Pacino and DiCaprio as De Niro, that would be frickin epic. @@seanfitzgerald8575
He probably has osteoarthritis of his cervical spine. Plus, osteoarthritis of the thoracic vertebra. More than likely, he has osteoarthritis of his lumbar & sacral vertebra. If the osteoarthritis, begins in the lower back with the lumbar & sacral vertebra, the beginning portion of the vertebra will also develop osteoarthritis. Previously, he may have had a major car accident, motorcycle collision, &/or fell from a long distance to a hard surface. Quite possibly, he could have been born with scoliosis or some other type of spine issue. His parents refused to put their child through that major type of surgery, to get Harrington Rods places to improve the function & support of the vertebra.
I’ve gotten to say that Adam McKay has come a long way from Step Brothers and Anchorman. Vice is gonna be one of the front contenders in the Oscars besides Bohemian Rhapsody.
Director Adam McKay suffered a mild heart attack during post-production. He decided to include black-and-white footage of the procedure to insert the stent in his heart, considering this to be his cameo. McKay attributed his heart attack to gaining weight and increasing his cigarette smoking under the pressure of the shoot, and resolved to quit smoking.
