On January 16th, 2015, Father Justin, librarian of the Monastery of Saint Catherine in Sinai illustrated the significance of the VI century mosaic of the Trasfiguration of Christ in the main church of the monastery. The conference was held at the Academy of Egypt in Rome, was presented by the Director of the Academy, Prof Gihane Zaki and moderated by Prof Gael de Guichen. Part of the same event was a presentation by Roberto Nardi of the mosaic conservation program.
