Not to mention Kurt's Slingshot car was a mix of Silencer and Drone technology. The electro launcher he used to bust the bridge is the same the drones used to eliminate Monkey's car in the Storm Realm. It also can change its appearance much like silencer tech. I believe "The Talk" Major would have had with Vert is; The Silencerz used to work with Gelorum and the drones somewhat indirectly in the Cliff Corporation before knowing what she was. When they discovered it the corp broke apart leaving the government to create the Silencerz in the first place.
There’s actually a fan comic that just came out where the talk he had with Vert is essentially “we needed to stop Tesla” and the other drivers (Banjee, Alec, and Dan) take off their helmets.
If he still has the electro launcher he could save multiple drivers by just using it only issue thou is that the launcher requires a computer system to give him or show him better aim amd accuracy to find weakspots of random structures i don't think he would get better aim by shooting and moving
I have an outlandish theory. Kurt might be zed-36. The cars look the same, and they use the same binoculars. I know this is outlandish, but I think I’m onto something
Yeah… that’s weird. he also didn’t shoot the rotating death wheel from the short cut when markie (I think he may be Kurt’s brother but don’t quote me) started to approach it. Isn’t that odd
Kurt in Highway 35 probably didn't think the drivers would put themselves in any serious danger, but Lani proved that they would risk dying just to win and when his brother joins he starts to doubt Gallorum.
I feel like Kurt/Tork/Vert/Sirako are very much representations of real life struggles people go through, hence why its interesting to analyze their characters so much. Kurt - Used to be on the wrong path and got wronged himself, now he is changed but cannot bare the fact that his past is stained and his friends know it, which further more feeds into his untrustiness towards everyone , if they dont trust me how can i trust them , all that in a loop Tork - Survivors Guilt , not only he blamed himself for Tone's crash but felt guilty the same didnt happen to him , he also probably spent the better part of the 2 years pretending it didnt phase him furthering the damage Vert - The wanderboy lost his magic , unlike Nolo who struggled with following in his brothers footsteps Vert found himself not being able to carve his path , one blunder( Kadeem incident) and he got mentally wrecked (add the water realm blunder further more), he knew he could do it before but now he seemed broken and shallow filled with doubt and pettiness towards himself and thinking of himself as a burden to the people who were betting on him getting back to his prime, not because they need vert the best driver but because they cared about vert the person. Shirako - Lost in his world , Shirako constantly plays his music , trying to keep the world out but instead his closes himself in. Just like any person who becomes disconnected with reality although they have a consistant perfomance or life (for example, wake up - eat - play videogames - sleep - repeat) they slowly find themselves suffering because they become to attached within their world. Shirako started the series by being the only driver to never have a bad performance and ended up losing his car 2 times in a very short timespan along with him losing his composure when something messes up with his music (like the drone ripping his subwhoffers just how a kid becomes angry when his parents take away the phone from him). I could probably do this for all characters but these 4 are the ones who jump out to me the most, i also obviously didnt mention all the things their characters have but i dont think you need a paragraph for each one to understand the basic template of these characters.
another small little note is how Kurt has the number 8, while Markie has the number 7, this could also be symbolism of how Kurt views he'll always be greater then Markie. Or just a neat coincidence. Either way awesome video as always!
Then Mark would have the Number 9 - the lower Number is actually the Sign of the Ranking (#7 is better than #8) I think the "8" is actually more of a "Perfektion" Number and simliar to Infinity without being a "0" ( a total loser)
I would say that Kurt's aggressive driving does seem strange with a background driving in gran prix, but in dirt track, nascar, or other types of stock car racing, that would be considered normal. A popular saying is "Rule number one of stock car racing, learn to wreck someone else, without wrecking yourself." I think it is pretty good to assume Kurt has experience in many different forms of racing, saying that the are some moments in Acceleracers where he was seen drifting, which isn't a part of stock car or gran prix styled racing, but rather Japanese style street racing that originated from the mountain roads. This rant was mostly just to say that I don't think Kurt driving aggressively is reason to say that he is ok hurting people.
About this, I agree. Kurt maybe has an experience from other discipline race. Sebastien Loeb is legendary WRC driver. He has 9 consecutive world champion title. I was forgot which year, but he almost have "Super License" for F1. By that, I know Loeb has experience and capability to drive F1 cars.
I am very grateful that I found a community that appreciates this show and its characters as much as I do. I’m sure this tv show was first made to sell toys, but it developed into something SO much more than that. I am grateful for your work on these videos!
Hey man I came back to my childhood and I absolutely love it after I found you to find about how much of a masterpiece this is and how great it was as a childhood movie/series. Keep up the good work and I’ll start commenting on your videos more often! 👍🏾
My brother and I unlocked the hidden memories of this series the other day. Thank god you’re here there’s not a ton of content on this great series. Still holds up as a great show I was surprised but now all I want is the show to get a proper ending 😭
15:15 I never knew that Kurt stole Tono’s nitrox before probably because it wasn’t said in the movie and you have to connect a lot of dots to get to that point. where did you find that information was it in an interview, or in the original script that leaked somewhere somehow, or did it get hinted at in the movie somewhere would love to know because it gives way more depth to a scene that kinda felt unrelated, don’t get me wrong I still liked the scene it’s nice to see cutaways to the other more background racers in the movie but it did feel unnecessary. Also Tono when talking to Dan Dresden refers to him by his car name (Sidedraft) when Dan called him by his real name so I thought that was kinda funny.
well kurt bascially got banned from tesla's cube after being outed as a spy. He had no nitrox and then gelorum captures him to work for her again. So, he still has to get in the realm . And what do you kniow? One of his own team (one recruited in kurts place BTW), doesnt have the nitrox, but kurt somehow does. THe logical conclusion is that kurt stole his nitrox.
@@chinnymisc That can be true, but how about Clyp drivers ? They use nitrox too. As we know, each car has 2 tanks. And only Sidedraft that got sabotaged.
i still to this day wonder why; if tesla designed all the cars, why did he not raise a brow to kurt bringing his own- edit: i just now noticed that the reason the klif drivers were so hung up on kurt getting the wheel was because theyre drones, and only a human can win the wheel.
I feel like Kurt got nerfed real hard in acceleracers when it comes to his skills in racing. Being the most experienced driver out of everybody, he still seems like the weakest link out of the Teku.
Closed circuit racing is totally different from racing in worlds that are environmentally hazardous and drones trying to kill him plus his angry brother usually ruining his usual solid pace.
You know im over here trying to figure out Kurt. But while watching the video and seeing the clip with Mark and Kurt I said to myself how did Mark know about Dan dresden being in the world, Kurt recruiting drivers, and the biggest question is how in the world did Mark get to location with the other drivers and end up driving kurts car in the first place
The fact that Markie was able to arrive to the Cube was actually a plot hole. Initially, Jeff Gomez would put Mark in as he was hiding in Kurt’s car trunk. But because at the last minute he chose Sling Shot for Kurt - which is nothing more than a glorified, road legal dragster, it obviously doesn’t have a trunk. And Kurt and Dan were friends beforehand
Also you know how Kurt gets slingshot while galorem saying that the cliff Corporation got him the car and his disguise when literally Tesla gave him the car for the world R A C E soo….
I feel like the main reason kurt didn’t recruit his brother was he knew as some point as z36 he was going to have to sabotage or hurt him, so acted like a arrogant brother to maybe get him to go back home away from danger
i have a theory/question. When Gelorum stated that she would get another, to replace Kurt for his deeds, is it possible that she was talking about his brother?
Kurt is awesome because he starts off the series as this unlikable egotistical asshole, sure Vert is kind of similar, but Vert is just getting into his tenager phase, yet he can still be nice at times. Kurt is an asshole to basically everyone but his own team, at least on the surface, but then his betrayal makes him a bigger asshole, ao it's satisfying seeing him fail, but then he sees what Galorrum really is, he still tries to get the Wheel Of Power for himself as he still doesn't trust Tesla, but he shows that despit ehis betrayal and ego, he still has a good heart, as he sacrifices his win for his brother Mark, despite beign an asshole to his bro, he goes to help Mark, he even saves Vert, and I think the consequences of his actions still effect him post World Race, I think Dan Dresdan took over as leader of Street Breed, this is why we see him with the Teku, I think Vert knowing Kurt has a good side to him and needs a friend vouched for him to join the Teku, this is also I think why Mark joined the Metel Maniacs, Mar couldn't trust Kurt after he went to prison, and seeing the Maniacs were the rivals of the Teku would give him a way to get back at Kurt, this caused Mark to become a very angry person. Over Acceleracers the brothers but heads a ton, but in the end Kurt still care about his brother enough to bring the teams together to save Mark, I love how this dynamic started off as one of the things keepign the 2 teams from workign together, but in the end becomes the thing that brings them all together, the Maniacs because Mark despite being an asshole even to them is still one of them, and the Teku because Kurt is one of them and is going into a dangerous situation, and because Nolo nows the pain of losing a brother, and doesn't want to see it happen to Kurt. Mark becomes a hinderence to everyone, but the thing that pulls them together in the end. THis is great writing, all this for a show that's branded with a toy aimed for kids more then teens. I miss mature kid shows like this.
I’m sorry, but would you be able to further explain over the clip sometimes, sometimes the clips you show are too long before you continue explaining and most of us here already know of the series by heart
