Hello, thank you for the great play list! I'm learning a lot, but at 3:39 why didn't you integrate dt? Could you pls explain!

Great video sir....but would I be wrong I used the kinematic equations to solve this question since we are dealing with a constant acceleration

Hi, thanks a lot for this wonderful playlist; saved a lot of time, really! However, I was just wondering that if the question asks for distance first, and then time, can we not use the third equation first which you derived in the previous video to get the distance first? I am referring to v2=v02+2a(s-s0). And then either use v=v0+at or perhaps use that distance found in the first parts and substitute in s=s0+v0t+1/2at2?

Yeah definitely. In most cases like an assignment or test, you will be given those kinematic equations on a formula sheet, and it would be find to just plug and chug with them. If you're not given on a formula sheet, you can most often also just write them from memory and then plug and chug, and won't be penalized. I just started from scratch in this example to show the whole process!
