Look forward to the modified wing brackets. Maybe cutting a wedge out and re welding it so you can keep the threaded mounting surface would work. 🤔

cal vue sport mirrors (if you can find a set) would sport it up. the flag mirrors were removed from my 1991 s10 4x4 4dr when I got the truck in 1994. still have the truck. The wing is designed to clear clear the back glass. keep up the build looks great.

Commentary on how to do things is much appreciated by people who are just starting out and beginning to learn how to work on cars. I remember when I started long-ago how much it helped. I definitely would consider blacking out all the chrome. The roof strips will definitely flow a lot better and give it more of an aggressive look. Absolutely loved how the wing came out with the logo🔥🔥🔥🔥

I have a blazer problem, I have an 87 2 door with a 92 GMC grill, lowered, same grey as yours. Been trying to get motivated to finish the purple velvet interior I started almost 2 years ago .......Also have a 2000 2 door blazer xtreme, 2 zr2 blazers, 2 awd bravadas......blazer life. The wet sanding trick is legit (done it before) I have a wood stove that makes alot of dust, while I'm painting it sucks, but the dry heat cures it so fast. Top notch bud.

Just one note, I took the wing off at one point, and got fumed out almost immediately when I drove it. I think it's keeping a low pressure area around the glass to keep fumes from sucking into the cabin. Just a theory

I know you are budget building but the black rubber pieces that go under the trim for the roof you can get on lmc truck. They are a gasket so they don't leak. And that black coating that comes on body panels is called ecoat. Sem makes it, they call it ez coat.

I'm sure you've been told but the "lil wang" the blazers come with was designed to push air down the back window to clear the water off of it 😉 they look dope tho, had one on both my 1st gen blazers

I've found without it I get fumes from the tailpipe too. Maybe wasn't intentional, but seems to help.

that damn he is always messing things up Toby lol on your window trick instead of all of those steps you took to get the clean n shine back into the window have you ever tried 0000 steel wool you can use it dry and it polishes the glass back to a sparkling brand new look and it takes off overspray , road grime and when your done you can put a coat of wax on the glass for water repelling i dont know which one is better but its nice to have options

hell yea bro,see i have a 2005 blazer and its just missing something you know,i wish i get something for mine but theres nothing,you see video's of people making their own wide body kits out of foam and fiberglass i wish someone could come up with something for a 05 blazer,mines white,first white vehicle ive ever had,i got it because it was the only one with a manual and i swapped to a 99 camaro t56 6 speed with a 6.0 cam and supercharger but the white blazer just looks like a egg,im going to get a cowl hood just to try and add some shape but wish there was something for the back.oh well

Hey dude. Nice job. Looks really nice. I know you said before in the junkyard that is not of your like to put the roof rack, but that wing with the roof rack is goin to give her a nice touch. Maybe if you can shop the roof rack and install it from the back the doors only the rear part of the roof instead of the hole roof. Painted the same black color is goin to give that touch. But Is only an opinion and suggestion. Nice job 💯 💪🏼💥💥

The wing looks odd because you don't have a roof rack. If you had it you'd see the difference because the rack sits high. I like the look for sure but just saying I think that's why you're unsure on it is all. Also, there are supposed to be two caps that cover the hardware that hold the wing on. Right where those two holes are on each side. 👍🏼

Definitely should delete all the chrome. The roof strips may grow on you, especially if they are color matched… or you add more black accents. And last but not least… yaaaaaaaay Toby.
