Thanks so much! I'm so glad that you've been loving the channel! Yay for being plant-based for over a year! 🥳 Ooh, getting into working out sounds like fun. Do you know what type of exercise you might like to start doing? Nutrition is number one for weight loss, but exercising can be helpful too. Have fun with it and check in here anytime with updates! 😊
It's great that you are incorporating negatives on the pull ups! You might also like playing with a banded/assisted pull up (if you're not already doing them). They can help work the full range of motion. My goal - 6 days a week physical therapy type exeecises on my knee, arch and ankle with the goal of eventually being able to start routinely running (pain free).
Thanks for the tips! I love doing negatives to build up my strength. That's how I managed to go from knee push ups to toe push ups! I do assisted pull ups on a machine and with bands in the gym, but don't have a band at home that will work. All the best with your physical therapy routine! Listen to your body and start slow with running. Let me know how you get on. 😊
Thanks David! Yay for more raw foods! 🙌 The spring and summer months are a great time to incorporate more salads, smoothies, and other raw foods. Let me know how it goes! 😊
Your arm strength gains are amazing!! April goals: stay consistent with shoulder-therapy exercises and building arm strength (my arms have been weak my whole life). I’d also like to see if I can go the rest of the month without coffee (again! lol).
Thanks so much Gina! All the best with shoulder therapy and strengthening your arms! 💪 Ooh, coffee can be an interesting one to go without. Let me know how you get on with your strength gains and going coffee free for the rest of the month! 👍😊
I switched from drinking a hard seltzer at night to a regular water seltzer. I bought lots of fun flavors! I also switched back to my whole foods plant based diet and started tracking on my fitness pal just to get back on track and re-learn my portion sizes. 10 lbs creeped up on me over the last year after I started my business. Less working out and less time to focus on my health! I'm re-prioritizing though and getting back to making my health my first priority. Thanks for the amazing videos as always! You've always been such an inspiration. My 8 year old daughter is a cancer survivor. It's amazing how much more you appreciate life after going through something like that. It really changes your perspective! I want to model a healthy lifestyle to my kids to keep them happy and healthy throughout their lives! Much love Meg! ❤💪
What a great substitution with the seltzer! That's great! 🙌 Using a tracking app can be a helpful tool for sure. It's easy to lose that focus on ourselves, so it's great that you're back to making your health your first priority! I'm sorry to hear that your little one had cancer, but am absolutely thrilled that she is a survivor. I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for her (and for you). Thanks so much for watching my channel and sharing your experience! ❤️
I want to stop eating until I'm positively stuffed, I even stuff myself with veggies like spinach, too much is just too much, even if I only eat low calorie healthy plant foods. I tend to get so bloated that it's even hard to move after lunch. I have a smallish dinner which suits me, but I need to lose a few lbs so I need to work on my lunch portions, as they've got bigger over time almost without me noticing
It can take some time to find the sweet spot of being comfortably full and satisfied without overeating. Let me know how it goes with managing your portions and getting into a better eating pattern. 👍
I used to do this too (and still do from time to time). It can take time to listen to your body and figure out what fullness feels like versus overeating. My latest video about mindful eating may be helpful - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2VHqe52iz1I.html 🙂
@@raworder I use the assisted pull up machine at the gym too! 🙌 Yay for more exercise this month! Do you have a favourite type of cardio? Have fun with it and let me know how it goes! 😊
I really enjoy your videos and aspire to be 100% Plant based one day. My current goal is to eat fruit and/or veggies at every meal, and exercise at least 3 times a week.
Thank you! All the best on making your way to 100% plant-based eating! It's awesome that you're focusing on adding veggies and/or fruit to your meals and exercising! Have fun with it! 🙌😊
