Thanks for the video. I have your sound file for my Class 68 and have to say it is great. Currently I am waiting to determine which decoder I should put in my TPE driving trailer, would like to have a sound one so looking forward to when you have one available.
Mine arrived the other day and was in a odd order A E B D then C so maybe they all came like that I know E originally had the coupling so had a slightly larger pocket for its coach in the blister pack thanks again for the video
I havent chipped the DTSO yet, and Accurascale said that’s why the DTSO was making a buzzing noise. Waiting for a sound file to come out and going to send it to Roads and Rails with Brutus and get sound put in both. Love the 68 on the Scarbados line.
Really looking forward to the sound file. I have just purchased one of yours for my 68 but I seem to be one of the unlucky ones that are still awaiting arrival of my coaches. Hopefully soon as it’s driving me up the wall 😂
Shit John, the word you're looking for to describe the Dapol couplings is, shit - I replaced mine with a Pivoting square Magnetic coupling and it's improved it MASSIVELY mate. I tried kadees and had similar issues with the movement.. Thw mk5 set is beautiful though!
I have your sound fitted 68 will more than likely have to use a different address for the DT when I get mine delivered so I don't end up with problems when trying to run the sound decoder in the loco and when trying to swap over the lights on the DT
My pack had exactly the same damage as yours, obviously the packaging is not suitable for the job. However, like yourself I contacted Accurascale immediately and was offered a replacement blister insert. I would like to add this though. Check the etched grids on the sides of the central box on the chassis, its the box that has Accurascale printed on the underside. The one on my rear power car is coming away and two others are not seated correctly and could quite easily get caught and either bent or pulled off. Apart from that they are stunning.
Amazing still waiting for mine and need to purchase a 68 and sound chip yet, where can I get yours from? Also what will be your choice of decoder for the rear? (apologies bit of a newbie)
Hi John Just awesome models, do the coaches have a through power connection or is it pick ups on the coach wheels, also does the Driving Trailer have a working destination screen (which might be progammable??). Thanks
It does have a light up destination board comes with two different destinations lime Street or Scarborough you fit them into the front and lights up with the light behind and fit the glazing on the front same with the side destination boards
