Accused Son Killer’s Defense Gives Jurors Bizarre Message: ‘You’re Not Going to Like Him’

During opening statements in the child custody murder trial, the defense attorney for Christopher Gregor gave a strong message to jurors: “you’re not going to like him.” Gregor is accused of forcing his six-year-old son to run on a treadmill because he believed the young boy was “too fat.” The son, Corey Micciolo, later died of the injuries he sustained from the alleged abuse.

A 6 yr old doesn't die of sepsis as a result of pneumonia!!! No symptoms of pneumonia the night before while in Mom's care. Normal vital signs, clear lungs, no shortness of breath, oxygen saturation 98%. I believe the sperm donor beat the child up after he returned home, causing laceration of heart & liver.

I agree, he's obviously unhealthy. However, the court should always force parents to physiological studies in order to determine who is the healthiest being and added that, both should assist counseling for the next 18 years, regardless of how they feel.

Here’s what I think: Chris is a man who doesn’t want to be a father but his family (mainly his parents) probably insisted that he get at least joint custody. And then when Cory’s mom had trouble and suddenly Chris HAD to take more responsibility and maybe his own mama wasn’t as willing to part with her time to take care of a grandchild. So there he is, trying to pick up women and get laid but he is stuck with a little boy he doesn’t want and doesn’t like and he takes it out on the little boy.

I guarantee you that even if they suspected sepsis, they'd call the cops and the Social Worker, before they let them go. Its mandatory reporting. I was a social worker too, but I'm retired. If they did that, they would be so sued and in danger of whomever was in charge of his care could be charged and/or lose their license to practice. It's serious.

The defense is saying what the father did with the treadmill is horrific, but this does not mean he murdered him and that the child died of an infection. If their account is true, the mother and hospital are mostly to blame. The father should have called an ambulance for Cory with the symptoms he had. The defense also claims bruises were from football and then life-saving attempts.

@Juanita-gf4te There is no such thing as “early stages of sepsis” in fact, there are 3 stages, and the first is an immune overreaction to an acute infection, stage 1 of sepsis is massive inflammation and the body’s immune system attacking organs. Later stages have the organs shutting down, but there is no “early phase” of sepsis. The first stage is a life threatening massive body-wide inflammation, you aren’t walking around with sepsis 🤨

No they don't they will let you leave. I had sepsis and almost died they told me I had it and gave me fluids then discharged me I was shocked bc they sent me home to die really. I went to another hospital that found the problem and kept me. So some hospitals don't care unfortunately

This lawyer is the clear reason why the system failed this child. They keep finexcuses even after death. They didn’t save him during life, and they dont even try after death. Excuses excuses. No one wouldve have help him if it happened again

For context I don’t think she was a bad mom. She has addiction issues that was seeking treatment for and to get well to be the best mom she could be. I’ve been sober 4 years and I completely understand that struggle. This was my attempt at those ridiculous comments focusing on the mother.

The child was beaten to death after the treadmill incident. I never believed that the treadmill is what caused his death directly. What it does show is a pattern of behavior by the father. This lawyer is a disgrace.

As a nurse, I was appealed by the the treadmill video but after listening to defense attorney, things fell into place. The father seemed so cold, but the truth will always prevail. How unfortunate that the beautiful 6y/o died.
