***UPDATE*** in this video I do a RANGE OF MOTION exercise to show how much I can move neck/head ... the next day I was pretty sore so just remember folks if you have this procedure done and are recovering, no matter how good you feel DONT PUSH IT AND TAKE IT EASY ON YOUR SELF
@@bankyankinlive that’s good to know thanks and yeah man I’ve been there luckily for me some pain medicines have helped a lot but the first. 2 weeks it was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced, also luckily just pain medicine like ibeuprofen not anything too bad.
My surgery is March 26. Thank you for sharing your experience. I have been scared, still scared, but the more I educate myself, watch videos such as yours, it helps me a lot. God bless!
For everyone who does go through the surgery it isn't that bad. Remember to eat ice to reduce swelling and stay on top of taking pain pills given to you.
Just thank you. I’m a dentist. Had L5-6 fused in 2019. Just had c5-6 done 5 days ago. I need patience. Traps are sore but they were before. I just wanted to say also I did not know I was getting donor tissue. I was touched by that emotionally. They ask for a thank you letter. I’ll be writing it after I recover more.
I’m so glad I watched this. I am six weeks out from ACDF C6 C7 and was beginning to wonder why I felt this way still. I feel much better now. Thank you!
I had the same surgery on January 19th. I am a month in and had my first post op last week. Everything looks good but I have to wear the hard collar and no driving for 2 more months. I still have some muscle pain just the same as you describe but I don't take narcotics. These videos are very helpful to those who have no knowledge of these surgeries and recoveries. Thanks and continued healing for you!
Wow. Thx for such a well articulated informative update. My brother is considering this surgery. And this video makes me feel so much more knowledgeable and not so worried. You are both similar build and age. The pain sounds bearable. My brother is a pain WARRIOR! So I think he’s gonna be ok. That is the prayer. 🙏🏾 And I pray you continue to heal as well. Thank you again.
I have been watching your video's for almost a year now. You have relaxed me mentally and gave me courage to schedule the appointment, to go on ahead and do this! My surgeon said that I won't have to wear a brace, not even a soft one. I am going to get one just to have it when I go out. Once again I thank you, thank you, thank you!
No problem and having the courage is the first and hardest step ... everything else is a breeze and you'll be better and back to normal before you know it .... good luck hope all goes well and hope you have a speedy recovery too
Those other marks are likely from the nerve team's probes attached to different parts of your body to monitor nerve function. They do it during spine surgery to make sure the spinal cord is not being affected by the fusion surgery. Thx for the video. I am about 1 month post op for this and have many of the same symptoms you had. Your vid made me feel better about that. Thx
I had the same done end of 4/24. Had to wear hard collar 2weeks. However, my pain was terrible!!! I had to go to ER to get help . New pain meds helped and didn’t need them long thank goodness. Now i do PT 2x a week and only suffer stiffness. Thanks for the video. They really help people who haven’t decided yet!!! I know cause I was one of them😊
So thankful for these videos of yours. I am scheduled for C6/C7, C7/T1 in April. Wonder if you or anyone else commenting knows of anyone who's been through that. Thanks again.
Im on my 12th week recovery. Everything you said is SO TRUE. I HAVE that tube mark that is bothersome but I can deal with it. I have a few rash bumps in my forehead that will not go away. Think it was when I was strapped down. I was a nervous wreck before, had all the questions possible. My voice goes in and out occasionally and the upper back muscles are unreal. Im mentally struggling with things but health wise PHYSICALLY Im doing well.
Glad to hear you're doing good physically the mental will get better in time for you .... just keep the faith and keep progressing with your recovery and all will be well I'm sure ..... 🙏🏾
Great videos thank you for posting. I'm having the surgery done on Tuesday. In addition to a corpectomy due to bone spurs at the youngish age of 41yrs old!! These videos help a ton.
Good job! Glad you’re doing well. Your scar looks great! I also notice the lateral movement restriction. I had 2 level disc replacement and then 2 years later an ACDF. Thanks for the video, it does help people.
Since being back to work which involves me moving cars around alot I notice the normal look over left shoulder to back up is not so normal anymore 🤣..... thanks for watching
As a person who has had 3 of these surgeries, I'm so happy you had a good surgery & surgeon. Be blessed and keep up the amazing recovery!! Be gentle with yourself. When you need to rest, Rest. Neck rolls are amazing for stretching those back muscles out 🙂 First few weeks after returning to work are challenging..
Yes they are challenging when you first get back to work..... im on 2 weeks back and it didn't help qe had bad weather all this week that seems to aggravate me when we have bad weather.... if you don't mind me asking why did you have 3 surgeries .... was it an issue with your procedure? Or just additional issues down the road?
Good evening, I am due to go back and see my orthopedic surgeon next week, had a second opinion yesterday with a neurosurgeon and was given the same results from MRI. So I will be having surgery on c5-c6. Very nervous but thank you for your videos. Please pray me a successful surgery🙏🏽.
@@bankyankinliveI am now post op 8 days!! The sleeping with the brace is the worse, or should I say the lack of sleep. I will have it on for 2 more weeks. Some of the old pain is still there, but each day it eases up, so Thank You GOD!!🙏🏽 The swallowing confuses me, some days it’s ok some days I am holding my neck it starts to hurt again.
@charisser5402 swallowing was never painful but definitely felt different and it's like you said most times it's normal and the. There are times I can feel it
I also want to say thank you for putting up your personal experience and information. It was very informative Everyone experience is different but everone has on e common experience it seems and that's that it's a scary situation. Thanks for posting this video, I think it's one of the most recent ones I've seen, the other are older but still some are good for knowing thire personal experience !
Thank yor for sharing your experience.I just did my surgery 2 days ago and I already feel no headache that was permanent before. The second day was not easy with the sore throat and swallowing, but the third day today I feel much better.
Great video bro! I’m 5 weeks post Op from my c5-c6 fusion. I definitely agree w you on the tension and soreness in the back of the neck down through your traps. I was told last week to start taking my brace off for a while only while I’m home or of course to eat, if I’m out. While I’m home, after a bit, I’ll get that burnng and tightness in the back of my neck and pressure behind my ears for some reason. Sometimes it actually is like a nauseating pain. Definitely weird and something that I’m not used to. Felt like a bobble head the first time I took my brace off and walked around. Lol. I’m pretty active and probably need to chill out a bit more. The brace is definitely my friend, and helps a ton once the pain sets in after having it off. I rarely take pain meds other than Tylenol. Hoping that all will fuse and recover well for me. I’m a barber, and my neck is bent down and in angles all day 9-12 hrs straight. I really need this to heal extremely well. Thanks for your updates and the best of luck to you and anyone else going through this. 🙏🏼💪🏼
Thanks man and definitely take it easy as much as possible no need to rush things .... 5 weeks I was still taking it easy not doing much of nothing really .... give it time and you should be just fine my job calls for me to have my head at angles while working as well and it is a challenge but your body and muscles will get used to it in time ..... hoping you have a full recovery as well and take it easy on yourself time is your friend
So glad I saw this comment because I'm a beautician and I'm terribly scared about my range of motion in my neck after the surgery. How's your range going? I hope you're doing well 💗
@@sowbeautyful Hey Steph! Well I’m 5 mos now post op and my range of motion is way better. It’s never gonna be 100% full motion, but I feel like I’m a good 90% of full motion. Depends on the angle I guess. Certain angles will give me a nice little shooting pain, mostly on my left side. I do raise my chair up which helps, but to do hot towel shaves and lay a person back, the chair doesn’t go up as high as I’d like, so it bothers my neck a bit. Idk, by the time I’m done w my work day, my neck tends to be stiff and a bit sore. My chiropractor and Dr said that sore and stiffness can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. I’m not one to stay still a lot and a bit stubborn. Hope to feel normal one day without any soreness or stiffness but we’ll see. I wish you the best of luck and blessings. All will work out for you. 🙏🏽💪🏽
I’m 2 weeks into post op surgery and I also had C5-6 done. The back of my neck muscles are sore today I think I probably did too much today. But no real pain. This neck brace is my friend and I took it off today just to get a minor break and I will tell you I NEED it. I put it right back on! I’m still struggling with getting comfortable at night and still struggling with getting sleep. I’m trying to come off the narcotics and I don’t take them during the day anymore only tonight to help me relax. I still have a month before I go see the surgeon for my fist visit. I can’t wait to drive again. I think that’s the biggest sadness for me. I’ve been in the house for 2 weeks straight and just opened a storefront and can’t be there so I’m looking forward to having some normalcy again. But today is showing me to take it easy and rest. I’d rather heal then have a setback. I do appreciate your videos. I find myself watching yours at the time of the same days so I can see if how you felt is how I feel. So thank you! So far so great! This is a marathon not a sprint so just know over time you will be right back to being fully YOU.
Glad to hear you're doing good and definitely keep the neck brace on as much as possible until they say you no longer need it I remember my first day out of the brace I wanted to out it back on because I had minor pain from moving my neck after months of not doing so but it didn't last but maybe a day or 2 and also definitely take it easy no need to over do anything unless you absolutely have no choice other than that just be easy and heal up ...... I just had my 8 month visit so I'm going to do an updated video mainly discussing my images and bown growth ... maybe this weekend possibly
Nice video, I appreciate your input. I'm 8 day post-op c-7-4. Muscle fatigue in the back is what I got.i heard that's common, hopeyou keep recovering fast.
You'll be on more restrictions at first like don't lift more than 5 lbs then 15 lbs then 25 and so on ..... recovery time can vary from person to person but shouldn't be more than 4 months no less than 3 to 4 weeks
I just had my acdf neck surgery February 16 , I still weary neck brace through out the day on and off ,and when I'm asleep. I was told not to put my ear to my shoulder cause it can cause damage. I also feel everything in my throat sometimes which I do not like. I hope everything goes well for you . Looking forward to more videos and updates.
I just had my neck surgery on C4C5C6 and I’m still in pain at the back of my trap muscles lower end of the back of the neck. Just a very sore tight feeling. Thanks for sharing in your video and much appreciate your progress and hope you do well.
Thank you and hope you have a speedy recovery . ... that soreness still comes around especially when it's bad weather and it's right in the sane areas you mentioned
Right now it feels like somebody squeezing my trap muscles as hard as they can behind my lower neck. I know it’s a marathon, not a sprint, but good Lord, I find this to be the toughest thing to deal with.
I just wanted to say thank you, I just came across your video. I’m looking at a 3 level sometime in early November, I’m still waiting for a surgery date. I always thought I had a high pain tolerance but this is kicking my butt. I hope you still do a video on what led up to your surgery and the pain you were having. This is brutal! Hope you are tolerating being back at work. THANK YOU
Same here ... I thought I dealt with pain fairly well but this pain here was NO JOKE .... my wife didn't understand at first but after a while she was like you really must be having some serious problems lol ..... I am going to do that video you mentioned but first I'm gonna make one discussing being back to work... it has been a Rollercoaster so far but more better days than bad days so I guess that's good ..... hope you get some kind of relief before surgery and definitely after surgery and hope you have a successful procedure and a speedy recovery as well
It took two years total to really feel strong and pain free. Occasionally if I feel achy it is due to my pillow or my posture. Hands down folks! Yoga and Pilates is the ONLY thing that strengthened my neck and gave me balance and good posture. This is the key! Lifelong yoga/Pilates combo to maintain!
I go in for surgery tomorrow. Three disk replaced, and fused. And the Doctor keeps mentioning 'at your age', one month I will e 69. It is what it is, and will be what it is. The no driving part sucks. I live alone, and do not like having to be dependent on others.
Good luck man and you should be okay being alone .... the main thing having my wife there was she could do the driving and she was able to wash my back and such other than that I could do for myself honestly....
Hope your doing good and have a speedy recovery .... in this video you see when I did the RANGE OF MOTION exercise .... I feel pretty sore today .... just remember no matter how good you feel don't push it
Thank you for these! I was a week away from surgery but I postponed it because of just being scared of post op issues. So I have it scheduled for next month. You might want to try dry needling for the pain in the trap area. It works really well.
Thanks for sharing. I had the same surgery in December 2020. So far so good. Take it easy as much as possible for quite awhile!! I’m back to playing baseball but still cautious!!
Thanks for the words of encouragement and so glad to hear you're doing well .... I am still cautious but I'm back to work now so taking it easy mostly on the weekends lol ....
Cant find my comment on other thread of yours. Had my surgery yesterday c 3,4,5,6 Feeling better than thought i would. Throat hurts....not inside but using muscles to swallow. Only slept 35 mins. Pre surgery pain in shoulders reduced by 95%, still have positional numbness. Back of neck...tight . Meds are working so far. Again not even 24 hrs out about 20 hrs. Hope anyone else going thru this thing is doing well. Hang in there. 2.5 yrs since start of pain.
@bankyankinlive ur vids helped me, i was very scared prior to surgery. Thx man, just wanted to say that. I feel good today, got that throat soreness mostly. Going to try back down pain meds tomorrow day 3.
I have this exact same issue. A Cervical Radiculopathy at the area of C6 C7 ( maybe C5 too). A Doctor of Musculoskeletal Disorders told me not to get the surgery. No disc replacement or disc fusion. I sure feel like getting it though. Done everything almost under the sun to resolve it. Upper body strength training and on a vibration plate with a stand up desk at work helped the most. Don't wish this on anyone.
Have you done cervical decompression ..... I feel like you I tried everything under the sun and nothing "fixed" it .... hoping the end result of this surgery and healing will fix me
@@bankyankinlive I have a Cervical Decompression stretching device and have done it on a Decompression table at a chiropractor with limited results. Wish it works but appears not. I try to use it every once in awhile mainly to help my mental health of doing something. Everyone I know except one person has gotten the surgery but I think their problem was far worse. I have had the burning arm and needle like stinging into the biceps and region. Absolute nightmare. Really affects your mental health fullstop. The doctor I referred to earlier got the disc replacements in his own neck and said it worked for a little while on him but was short lived. Others I spoken with got the disc fusion. So many different kinds of surgeries. So hard to tell what will and will not be successful especially long term.
@@nrp5791 yea I did that decompression and some rolling table at the chiropractor spent like 1500$ total and was still hurting .... that burning arm isht ain't no joke and the pins and needles feeling ain't no better .... did you lose strength in triceps? I lost all strength in my tricep muscle... couldn't lift 5lbs using that muscle
It’s so crazy how every person has a different recovery. My friend has the same surgery as us and wore the collar 2 weeks, my surgeon told me 4 weeks, another guy i work with never had to wear one. I think and it’s just my opinion that wearing the collar too much causes the muscles to weaken but i can be wrong. My buddy was cleared to play golf 7 weeks post ACDF which i thought was crazy but i seen it myself he was playing 18 holes!! If you don’t mind me asking did you have your surgery done by an orthopedic or a neurosurgeon? I notice people have different recovery stories depending on which type of surgeon that performed the surgery. Feel better!!!!
Had c3/4 replaced c5/6 fusion and total decompression. Recovery has been pretty bad. Couldn't swallow for 8.5 weeks. It's been 11 weeks I lost my entire singing voice all I have is a talking voice and it wears you out. The shoulder and side neck pain is bad. Still bad 11 weeks later. Glad you're doing so good brother
Sorry to hear that you're going through this .... question ... have you done any rehab? Because I just went back to work this week and I feel better when I'm moving around doing stuff versus laying down all day. I still have that pain in the muscle areas I describe but it goes away mostly while I work. Hate that you have issues swallowing that would freak me out because that was my main concern going into surgery was the fact they basically push your throat to the side. Also have you talked to your surgeon about your issues and if so what did they say I would love to hear your feedback on this issue as it might help someone who watches this video in their decision making... or maybe you could make a video and copy link here in comments ..... PRAYING YOU GET BETTER AND YOUR RECOVERY TAKES A TURN FOR THE GOOD
Thanks for the video bro very informative I just had my acdf surgery last February 3rd it's been now 7 days and I'm feeling very optimistic I really want to thank you and after I'm finished with mines I'm going to make some videos too keep doing what you doing brother and God bless
Definitely do so ... we need all the info we can ..... only one week out you should be fine in a few weeks those first couple weeks are definitely a life adjustment ..... hope you have a speedy recovery
I’m almost 3 weeks from having my C6/C7 fusion done. Was done as an out patient and didn’t have to have a collar. I’m pretty well pain free in my neck and between my shoulders.
So, here’s my question: I work in law enforcement for 23yrs & I’m 45yrs old. Last year april 20th I was sucker-punched by an arrestee I was fingerprinting. This sucker-punch broke my upper jaw, knocked out my front tooth, knocked the teeth next to my front out of Alignment, split my upper lip in half to the point where I had to get over 20 stitches in my upper lip. My jaw was also broken. After I was hit my body went in to shock instantly. My front tooth fell in to my Covid mask & then I put it in to the garbage can. I then went after the offender & judo tossed him across the floor. I held him down while my partner called for help. I broke my the “radial head” of my elbow as I was fighting him. The offender was able to get to his feet & he still attacked me even though he was covered in my blood. My partner watched me fight this guy for about 1min & 30 seconds after I was hit. My partner is a coward. He stood by & held a roll of toilet tissue as this guy tried to kill me. I have the video of the incident & my extremely graphic injuries. I’ve been diagnosed with ptsd & I just found out I need surgery on my back. I need anterior C3-4 cervical discectomy & fusion for the front of my neck & posterior cervical C3-7 back of the neck laminectomy & fusion surgery. I’ve been doing physical therapy for almost a year & nothing has help me. I just got the diagnosis on my back about 3days ago. I’m looking to have surgery in about a month in a half. What do you think my case is worth? I’m in chicago. My doctor told me I have over 300pgs of documented injuries. Thanks in advance. Also, I’m on Workmancomp & now I’m trying to get disability from the city. I’m currently dealing with Gallagher Bassett. My lawyer has given me no idea on the type of settlement I may receive.. I was also diagnosed with a concussion
From what I've gathered anything dealing with cervical issues more than likely will not result in a disability payout but its not set in stone either but it does seem they pay out disability for cervical issues like pinched nerves and disc damage very rarely ..... now as far as a lawsuit I cant speak on that because I'm not a lawyer .....
I pray your recovering well and Thank you for service ,, Some people aren’t courageous as others ,, may god bless you and your abundantly and continue to keep you safe 🙏🏻🦋
@bankyankinlive my neck is hurting so bad I cried 😢 in tears and it gets so bad causing me to panic. I go to my chiropractor to help sone till I can get surgery done
I’m so glad I came across your video. Thank you for sharing. I’m having surgery on Nov 24, 2021 and I’m terrified. I have arthritis and bone spurs along with ruptured discs and degenerative disease from C3-C7 so spacers as well as plates with screws will be put in. The pain of it all scares and recovery scares me so much. I’m limited with the help at home and will only have someone staying with me the first week after the surgery. What was it like getting in and out of bed or even showering like? How long would you say someone should have live in help for day to day assistance?
For me I was able to do all by myself with limitations like washing my back and such .... no real issues getting out of bed but also I had a bed rail ... I think I showed the one I got on my second video i posted along with a pillow my wife got me as well..... I would just say with showering if possible sit down when washing feet and just be extra careful when standing in shower ... I actually went and got a slip proof liner for my shower ...... it is totally understandable being terrified as I was also terrified ..... hope you have a successful procedure and a speedy recovery 🙏
You answered both. That’s calming to hear. I am worried about neck mobility. Thanks for the reply. My guess is you’ve helped a lot of people. God Bless you. Thank you.
@@mataleon1010 no problem and if you have any more questions feel free to ask ..... im guessing you're scheduled to have this type of surgery done???? If so .... good luck with your procedure and hope you have a speedy recovery as well
Hello thanks 🙏 for sharing this experience ?? I waz also done , am still in bed resting, It’s now 6weeks , am on session of physical therapy, a bit improving, in turning left to right and lifting 5kgs + for the moment it’s hard , but still practicing ?? The pain is as well , as behind the neck some nerves which fights me to make it as I want , and for driving, am waiting just to my nerves to be free and able to turn without thinking of the pain, I think in one one more ?? Otherwise am swallowing well than 4weeks before ??😌but reflux is a bit ending too ,before it was a lot , cause of being squised, I can see some improvement since,, no pain in arms or muscle, though the healing is long, and no one knows about how it ends ?? Courage ✌️🙏
Recovery can be lengthy so just remember to take it easy and don't overdo it rest and walking is what my doctor recommended not really the lifting but hope you keep trending upwards with your recovery
Thank you for the video I’m currently waiting on the same surgery for my c4 and c7 and the closer to the date the more nervous I’m getting, my question is, have you tried working out and if so how does it feel? I fear I might never be able to do Jiujitsu again.
Totally understandable.... I was scared out my mind leading up to my surgery ..... just gotta try and calm your mind as much as you can and keep good faith and trust that everything is going to go as it should..... trust me I know how you feel and I dont wish that type of emotion on anyone ...... I really do hope you have a successful procedure and a speedy recovery and if you haven't seem it already I posted a video hours after my surgery you should check it out it may help somewhat but know you're not alone alot of is were/are afraid leading up to surgery
What’s happening my ? for you is is a difference between getting just the c5c6 to which I see a lot of videos of people getting c5c6c7 hit me up when you get a chance FROM BILLS MAFIA 🏈✊🏾✌🏾🙏🏾
Yes just imagine in between each number is the actual issue so c5 c6 is one area c6 c7 is the next adjacent area they won't mess with one area unless it serves purpose .... hope that answers your question .... think of it like the mortar between bricks brick5 and brick 6 are your bones but the mortar in between the 2 is the disc so brick 5 and brick 6 have mortar between then brick 6 brick 7 have mortar between them so don't think of it as getting 5 and 6 fixed more so getting what's in between them fixed
MORNING TY for that info I was just wondering because I had ACDF on c5c6 and I was seeing a lot people getting c5c6c7 done but your info gave me a better understanding everybody’s situation is different well B take it easy if I have any more questions I’ll hit you up FROM BILLS MAFIA 🏈✊🏾✌🏾🙏🏾
Not too long .... I didn't even notice it .....if I had to guess I'd say the procedure itself maybe 30 45 min but u have to be there super early or at least I did I got there about 6 or 7 if I remember correctly and I was eating cafeteria food by 11 or 12 I was out of surgery by at least 9 it was still very early when I woke up
I am 2 months 3 weeks PO I get soreness on the shoulders tripicies muscle real soreness I guess it normal but man they are sore, I heard you say you felt them as well, my right arm gets soreness as well, do you get sore in the right arm as well just wondering! I hope you are doing well, I am walking places and trying not to do anything wrong
Yes I get soreness in right arm as well but also still getting the sensation of nerves slightly in right arm and right hand since returning to work.... I was gonna do a video about it 1 week after work bit we got a stretch of bad weather so I decided to wait it out and compare it to fair weather work conditions etc.... this week is pretty clear so maybe Sunday I'll make another video updating how I feel since my return to work ..... but yes I do feel the same way as u stated and my surgeon told me it is normal and should be expected 🤷🏾♂️ I just hope it's not permanent 🤞🏾 .....
I AM CURRENTLY 5 MONTHS OUT FROM 5,6,7, DISC FUSION AND STILL A LOT OF MUSCLE SORENESS AND A LITTLE NERVE PAIN BUT DEFIANTLY NOT LIKE IT WAS. SO MY QUESTION IS DOES IT CONTINUE TO IMPROVE OR HAS IT FOR YOU ? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !
Yes it does continue to improve but at a very slow rate in my opinion. I still have muscular aches and the same tingling in my finger thats it. I was told going in it could take up to 2 years for the nerves to completely heal so I'm just waiting on my 2 year mark to see where I'm at then ....
I also had C4-C7, my questions are did your muscle start to get smaller as time pass by befor your surgery. How many pounds did you lose. Why did you have to have the surgery I mean I understand the pain is why with the numbness going to your fingers, was it a disk or arthritis that couse the need for sergery. I was told for me it was arthritis where my vertebrae was kissing each other. Can you explain!? I am two month PO. Trying to recover!
I had a disc basically pressing on my spinal cord pretty bad.... my muscle weakness was in my triceps on right arm and it was shot ... still not strong to this day.... I lost about 30 lbs but I gained it back pretty quick.... hope you're recovering good
I honestly just started lifted weights maybe a month ago if that long but that was just my personal choice I was cleared to do so after 4 months from surgery
Not sure what you mean which implants.... it was acdf surgery levels like in the description..... hughston clinic in Georgia is where I went but the surgery was done in Alabama hospital .... did you watch the video I explain how I feel in there and I feel the same way now still ..... hope that helps .... im going to make a video again after we get a week of good weather here to discuss how I feel going back to work and how it relates to weather
@@bankyankinlive thanq for replying me .my question is ..till you getting pain in your hand and shoulders, you said you'd 2 levels in cervical region the pain in only neck back side I think it was muscles pain but it's going through shoulders and hands and to fingers also . your problem is not resolved.. actually I'm facing with cervical and lumbar region disc problem me also want to go for disc replacement
@@vissuvishwa7239 the pain is muscle pain which they said would be expected .... and the tingly sensation is only in one finger which they said can take up to a year to go away because that's how long it takes nerves to heal.... I don't feel anywhere near to how I felt prior to surgery it's just a long recovery its not an overnight fix so to say my issue is not resolved would be incorrect to say .... hope you have a successful procedure if you choose to get it ... thanks for watching
Hi ..thanq for doing this video Now you problem is solved or not plz reply me, any complications are there with this surgery actually I'm also facing this problem I need to go for it but I'm thinking about disadvantages..
hi please i would like to ask you if you ever can stand up and walk because there is my who has had the same operation it has been a month and 10 days now
Yes I can walk with no issues .... I was walking the same day I had surgery all around the hospital ..... they said that's the best thing to do at first is to walk
@@AliMohamed-bq6nl hey sorry to hear about your dad having issues..... how was his walking prior to surgery? Did he cervical or lower back procedure? If cervical he may want to look into getting a second opinion and possibly a lawsuit because cervicalnshouldnt give you any issues with walking but thats just my opinion mam I am far from a doctor. Hope you all find some answers and your dad's recovery takes a turn for the better.
Thank you very much, he was operated on on the cervical level c6c7 and he could not walk before but if 2 people help him to stand up he could walk slowly
I had another question do you worried about the uper vertebrae or the lower vertebrae giving you problems in the future!? My was c4-c7 it's a bit concerning? Thank for your information!
