I'm probably the only one who cares, but here's a compilation of all the unique game overs in Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth/ Gyakuten Kenji. I fast-forwarded through the whole game just to record this lol.

Investigations game overs are creepier than the main ones, main ones are just "guilty", these you are there to actually witness the aftermath of your poor deductions, even creepier when Edgeworth is framed
Low key every person in the main AA cast has been accused This is the first time I’ve seen Franziska be accused however. She seemed pretty panicked about it too
Nah you are not the only one who cares trust me, thanks a lot for this video, I was always curious about what would happen when you run outta "trust life bar" in every kind of situation.
I am disappointed that Ace Attorney Investigations 2 only has the Generic Oh No I lost the Truth forever Game Over instead of these specific what if scenarios that happen when you lose all of your health. For example in one case where you play a case that was 19 years before the Game's Present Time when you are playing as Edgeworth's Father in the past, if you lose the truth, his client gets found falsely convicted of murder instead of being falsely convicted of being an accomplice to murder and either gets life in prison or the death sentence. Or if you lose in case 2 or 3 Edgeworth loses his badge and Courtney never gives it back to him unlike the true story/ending. These game over scenarios would be perfect for Whoisthisgit's Creepy Bad Endings Videos.
I mean, her dad did murder Gregory Edgeworth so it's not outside the realm of possibility that for a moment, someone like Edgeworth could cross that line especially when he used to be all "I'll have every defendant convicted". Yeah, it's ridiculous but still, looks can be deceiving. Something that this series has proven multiple times.
@@torri776 I hope you’re joking. AAI2 is one of the best series easily, with AAI being a contender for the worst in the series. The only genuinely good case in AAI is the fourth one
@@IceBlueLugia I wasn't joking - a simple story that works is much better than a VERY ambitious narrative failing to live up to that ambition. Just compare case 1 of GK2 (the BEST first case in the entire series) to the REST of the game. To end this reply with levity instead of an angry rant, the dichotomy between fan opinions is genuinely funny. Most GK2 lovers detest GK1 while fans who don't like the former consider the latter a great game. I respect and understand your opinion, as I respect AAI2's ambition.
@@torri776 Um.. what? How the hell can you say AAI2-1 doesn’t live up to the rest of the game when it’s probably the worst or second worst case in the game and AAI2-3,4, and 5 are all considered some of the best cases in the series? How can you say the story was set up as ambitious in the first case and failed to live up to the stakes it set when literally every single plot point brought up the first case was resolved in a satisfying and interesting way by the fifth case? As a matter of fact, I would say AAI2 did the whole “every case is connected” thing far better than AAI did. And if I’m being completely honest with you: I’ve been a part of the AA community for a while and have frequently visited AA forums like CourtRecords, r/AceAttorney, and GameFAQs and I’ve seen maybe a couple people at most who say that AAI > AAI2 so the whole dichotomy point is a bit weird. Not saying it’s wrong... just pretty irrelevant when you consider how few AAI fans there are.
Investigations takes place in the same timeline as the other games (But the main series doesn't like talking about it for some reason)- But if it were to be a different timeline, I doubt greatly that would happen. Since in the game-overs, Edgeworth always implies/informs us that the "truth was lost" or "the case remained unsolved" after he fails his investigations. This mainly implies that the cases also lost when they were put on trial, so Phoenix didn't even take the cases. However, even if Phoenix would've take the cases, he wouldn't have won them anyway. Since most of the cases involve the smuggling ring and such, some evidence, crime scenes (cough cough, the whole freaking haunted house), and witnesses would go missing to make the case impossible to solve. Meaning, Phoenix would only have to work with what he gets from the police's investigation, or even less because I'm sure that the government would be swayed that certain pieces of evidence would be void or they didn't even pick up on other crucial evidence. It would be cool if Phoenix could successfully defend some of the suspects though. Ahh, my apologies for the long reply btw- I've thought about this too much... and I'm horrible with words, so sorry if I was a bit confusing during some parts.
The writers cared so much about this game, that they went out of their way to add a new game over per scene. Investigations 1 currently holds the world record for largest amount of alternate endings (and they're really great imo) in the Ace Attorney series.
@@dnmstarsiProbably because Edgeworth is a famous and very respectable prosecutor, at least for those who had no idea about the forging evidence part.
Past Miles replaced 'can' with "could".... That's a very odd detail Compare: 9:21 'THIS' is capitalised 0:58 'can' 7:59 'could' 9:55 'do for him' 10:09 'I can't get tossed out of the case now!' 10:35 'I can't let her get away not now!' 10:54 'I-I've lost sight of the truth' 12:08 'all I could do?' 13:01 'could do no better?' 13:35 'What in the world are you thinking, Agent Lang' - Also, this is one of the few endings where Miles is not making THAT face 14:00 'But I'm at a loss of what to do myself!' 14:09 'Is this really where it all ends?!' 15:05 'Is this it?' 15:36 'is there no way to stop this man?' 14:11 - 14:36 This is one of the only times Miles isn't thinking of anything at the end of it... 😅
The uploader doesn't need to bother, because that video would only be a few seconds long if they did. It's like this for the ENTIRE game. Trust me, I've tried losing to every witness/boss, and I was left utterly disappointed.
YinYangAngel There are only two sadly - one if you fail as Miles (whenever) and one if you fail as Gregory (it’s the same, but with Gregory instead of Miles)
@@miyugaming9537Then again, AAI is TOO forgiving on penalities so why bother going the extra mile when most players aren't that incompetent or scatterbrained.
@@PanTran don't you lose it while investigating as well, such as presenting the wrong evidence, putting the wrong pieces together and what not? I swear you could do that in that area.
