I mean... All of these songs are... From the third game... The only coincidence is that the third song happened to start in the 3 minute mark. That's still kinda funny but it isn't "the trial from the THIRD game", it's all the third game
Ace Attorney has been my favourite video game series for 10 years now, and this is the first time I hear a fanmade ost remaster that is solid enough (and retains the original vibe to a good enough degree while also having an innovative sound) to be in contention for replacing the default in-game music. Massive fucking respect for this. Seriously. All six of these remasters are 9/10 easy.
Dude, I know how old this video is and you will probably never see this comment, but this is absolutely incredible. My favorites here are definitely 0:20 , 28:36 , 33:18 , 56:03 , and of course, 1:03:41 . Overall, this was an amazing remaster. I absolutely love this.
@@Furygun81 i think it has to with it already being modern-sounding, while the main trilogy has been GBA transferred to DS soundfonts, allowing people to remaster them in so many more ways and in so many more intruments. And also because the main trilogy is the *main* trilogy, while aj isnt
@@yeeyt464 He remastered the GK/AAI games, so the GBA argument doesn’t hold water. Though I will say that I think AJ's soundtrack sounds fine as-is. I can think of maybe four tracks that'd truly benefit from a remaster.
Even if t&t isn't my personal favorite(even tho it's s tier) I can see why it is for all others. The story is thrilling, new characters are enjoyable, and each and every one of them has a good motive to do what they are. Finally providing backstory for Phoenix and Mia. The first major antagonist in the series is good and I'm not even going to begin to talk about Godot. P.S. I blame you is actually named Recollection - What others have seen
Just recently, I started to replay the trilogy with your soundtrack, and my god is just GORGEOUS. I'm finally hearing full-fledged instruments, not these pixelated ones. Bravo JTPaper. I respectfully assure you that your OST is the best possible.
this is amazing! going to use this and your other remasters as my 'background music' for studying/gaming, and when i come around to replaying the trilogy i'll be sure to use the mod too!
I only just recently finished the trilogy, which I ended up starting towards the beginning of this year, so finally having played through this amazing series, which was still exciting to go through despite being spoiled of a few things, it feels all the more rewarding being able to hear all of these dongs on your channel in a remastered form, and now know what each one of them means, and represents in the game, and the experiences of each case bringing a new weight to some of them that you wouldn't pick up until you played the series. In short, I'm loving these remasters, and plan to listen to them quite regularly, so thank you immensely for putting the time into remaking all of these.
This is an absolute banger. Really good balance between preserving the original feel and making it new. I think I'm about to spend my two weeks vacation replaying the game with this version.
You're truly amazing. I can't even express how grateful I am for this absolutely perfect remaster with so many little details in each song. A true masterpiece. Thank you so much ❤
Oh, i was wondering why this video was missing from my playlist all of the sudden lol Still tho, excellently done, every song in here just sounds perfect!
Damn, you didn't just remaster the soundtrack of the 5 games before AJ, but you did in a way that it sounded like the remastered version of JfA. What I mean with that is that you took the old soundtrack and remade it in a similar style with better quality and audio improvements and additions
Absolutely incredible remasters, love your style! I know you said you were done doing Ace Attorney, but have you ever considered remastering the Ghost Trick soundtrack?
Very nice. Whatever you decide to do in the future, I’m definitely gonna listen in. You’ve got an incredible talent and I’m excited to see what you make. Wish you the best of luck!
These remasters are great and better than most remixes/remaster attempts out there. I just wish they sounded more like real instruments instead of what sounds like higher-quality MIDI samples. Also, some of the audio balancing is slightly off. The second half of Questioning in particular is missing its dark undertone, and I wish the drums on Cornered 2004 were more prominent as well. Did you do these by ear?
Oh god no, that'd be pain. I used the game's midis. I agree about the instrument quality, and I did notice the examples you pointed out when I listened over the tracks after the upload, and again, I agree. I could try to tweak those tracks if you want.
Have you considered posting all of your Ace Attorney Remastered soundtracks on Spotify? I really enjoy the work you’ve done and it’d be convenient to listen to them alongside my other music in my playlist. Might have to deal with legal issues though… Oh well, better hope you find a lawyer like Phoenix or Mia
Not sure how I would go about doing that, I don't really use Spotify. And as you said I might have to deal with legal stuff and I dunno if I'm big brain enough for that.
Wouldn't it awesome for _Trials and Tribulations_ to be released on *multiple platforms* other than just both the *Nintendo DS* and *Nintendo 3DS **_(Trilogy_** releases),* with *console and PC versions* having a *CD quality soundtrack?* -- Platform release(s) and other edit(s): • *_Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations_** (2004; 2007 for Western releases):* ▪︎ *Fall of 2007* -- *PC,* *PlayStation Portable,* *PlayStation2,* *Nintendo Wii* and *Xbox 360* ▪︎ *Early 2008* -- *PlayStation3* ▪︎ *October of 2014 **_(Ace Attorney Trilogy_** releases)* -- *PC,* *Nintendo Wii U,* PlayStation3, *PlayStation4,* *PlayStation Vita,* *PlayStation5 (via backwards compatability),* Xbox 360 and *Xbox One* and *Xbox Series X|S* *(via backwards compatability)*
Iwadare vs JT: with T&T 2004: 40 (F-) that OST kinda blows despite Godot trying to save it Your remaster: 100 (A+++) fixes all of the original's problems, just listen to Pursuit - it's actually climactic GK1: 70 (C) Iwadare's work got hogged, therefore dragging it down a bit by the other guy GK2: 100 (A+++) perfection. Your remake's just as amazing.
@@jimbobbyjoejr5679 It's pretty self explanatory. 2004's OST is supremely dated, even more than 2001 and 2002's OSTs on the GBA, and I really don't like it in base form (even on the DS). T&T's soundtrack stands as the weakest OST in the series in my opinion. I made sure to point out that this video by JT does a great job as a remaster to 2004's OST, actually making it sound good. I made comparisons to the GK Duology as a bit of a stretch to Noriyuki Iwadare's compositions, but in case you don't already know, GK1 had two composers, and I'm really not the biggest fan of the original GK's OST because I feel Iwadare's assistant held it back. It's mediocre at best, unlike GK2's OST (with just one composer, that being Iwadare himself), which unpopular opinion, is the greatest OST in the series. I hope I made myself clear.
@@torri776 I have to disagree with you there, DS base form is good. TAT has the worst Questioning theme and maybe investigation and reminiscence themes of the series but that's it. I love TAT but JFA soundtrack edges it out for me. Overall the 1st game has the best ost with DD 2nd, JFA 3rd and TAT 4th (until I play SOJ and MI 1 and 2). Godot, court lobby, Mask DeMasque, telling the truth and objection themes are great. Tigre, Kudo, Pursuit, Dahlia and BTTT themes are good. The rest is ok. Defs is weakest out of the trilogy tho
Your work is absolutely stellar, going to figure out how to finagle these under my 3DS later today, did you perchance remaster Godot's ringtone? I don't see it in the time stamps and I would love to have it for my own personal ringtone (your fragrance of dark coffee ABSOLUTELY rules, but I'm just curious if you had done the alternative version as well)
In my opinion, Trials and Tribulations had the weakest soundtrack out of the original trilogy, and maybe even the whole series. This remaster COMPLETELY cements that. Every song has been made SIGNIFICANTLY more vivid and now has the impact it deserves. The Pursuit theme, in particular, has gone from not being very moving to sounding absolutely AMAZING. Well done with this.
Falto el tono de llamada de Godot pero este caso no es como el de el tono de Naruhodou que era la canción de Tonosaman pero recortada sino que el tono de godot era literal su Tema completo pero version Nokia así que entendible . _.👍
Me, staring intently at the upper half of the picture: "Hmmm... Godot's face seems off in this picture." Yes, that's what I'm looking at, you degenerates.
They're done by me. I've tried to update the instruments in the soundtrack by swapping them out for similar higher quality instruments without majorly changing the songs.
i downloaded the music file, but it won't let me change it, how do i fix this (also others as well, I'm a big fan of ace attorney)? also amazin remaster btw, love it a lot :)
@@JTPaper thank you, I was using the cloudconverter, and it weasn't working because it was asking for a password to configure it, the application helped me, have a good day :)
@@JTPaper I’ve compared the first pair multiple times and the difference remains grating. I now also notice the reverse in the background organ in “Objection 2004”.
