The Tower of Babble reference goes deeper than the space elevator. In the Bible, everyone spoke the same language. "What had kept the world relatively sane at that point was the free flow of information." And God made it so they all spoke different languages so they couldn't finish the tower. Also, they were one united nation. "The skies came together" And God separated them all over the world. "The skies comming apart."

Yo buddy, can you hear me?

When Mihaly says "Yet what is a nation" it's in quotes. No other lines in the trailers are in quotations. He's either reading something or taking an excerpt from a speech. May not even be his morals, but certainly something he's reflecting on in that scene. Likely in support or contrast.

When they say Sol, they may be referring to the Latin, rather than Spanish or Portuguese, for Sun. AC games have a history of using Latin (such as 'Directus' or 'Solis Ortus'). Also that line: 'I felled every last one of them' means one of two things. Either Mihaly has killed every protagonist from previous Strangereal AC games (excluding Gryphus, Falco and Nemo as their games appear later in the timeline), or he's faced and defeated simulations of them to train himself and maybe the UAVs (which I think is more likely).

If you look closely at the clock; "3, 4 , 5" are completely missing. I believe this is a nod to the events in AC3, AC4 and AC5

13:30 Comona Islands also owns a Mass Driver. (Ace Combat 3D) 21:50 Perhaps this line can also be treated as a reference to AC4. "Let's take back our Shattered Skies!!" This game proves that nation, as a concept, and as reality, is all but a failure. Borders only bring forth new conflicts. "We shall erase these unnecessary borders." "That's what V2 is for."

8:16 I think she is disguised as a military for some reason. She, as a princess, should't be there, but she thinks that it is important for her to talk to him. Maybe this scientist will try to rebel not only aganist his own country, Erusea, but also aganist everybody for some reason. (Ace Combat Zero feels) That's why she asks about "Harling's mirror" (which I think it reffers to the painting, or else, she would't say "When you look at Harling's mirror") because that painting represents the union of nations. Remember that Ace Combat 3 nations are "dead" and corporations rules the world. *Maybe we will begin to see the fall of nations in this Ace Combat.* Also, I make another theory. The title of the game is "Skies Unknown" which I interpret as a question of "Who the skies belong's to? To a nation in particular? To all nations?" Before this war, I think the sky belonged to everybody. "Does the color of the sky mean anything special to you?" She is reffering if the sky has it's original color or if the sky has the color of some country, but should't be the sky blue for everybody? Why does it need to have another color? When the war started, it became a "no man's land", everybody wanted to paint the sky as their color. *That explains the contrast, it's about before and after the war, when the sky is'nt blue anymore.* Specially when the scientist say that free-flowing information were gone (because sateleties were probably gone), so all nations are lost in comunication. They dont talk anymore. So, if there is anarchy in the sky, there is anarchy on the land with this scientist using his technology for something else. And even more beautieful, is at the end, when people ask "Can you hear me?" maybe is part of a philosophy from the game trying to say "Restore comunication, have dialog, have peace. This is the only way." Yes, it is cool as hell in my opinion, Ace Combat Fan, so i ask you buddy, "CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" OMG I'M SO ANXIOUS FOR THE GAME!!!!

In this trailer and almost all the others, "choice" is a prominent theme. Ex. Rosa asking the scientist what path he will choose. I have a feeling the player choice along the lines of Ace Combat 3 will make a return. Also, games with multiple endings (Deus Ex, Spec Ops: The Line, etc.) are very popular now and add to replayability. So I think Ace 7 is gonna get in on it.

The Tuxedo guy at 13:45 looks like the Cup Man to me

8:00 This scientist is most likely the founder of the Neucom. According to the wiki, it's based in Usea, appeared in 2020 with aircrafts like Forneus and Fregata. And the MOST important, Neucom is the result of EASA's privatization. So if there is a conflict between the princess and the scientist then the latter one will come out of the situation victorious, maybe.

My theory is that the scientist is collecting flight data of Mihaly A. Shilage and other pilots so he can improve/create that special drone/drones. Great analysis btw :)

Including the word "Salvation" as part of the phrase at the end of the Japanese trailer hits very differently now

Nice analysis! Where is the stonehenge fire at? Maybe it was used to destroy the satellite (which make it a very effective weapon), or maybe the arsenal bird (which might be the first time stonehenge is in our side). Both are exciting.

Remember, Yellow squadron was officially Aquila squadron. You could possibly argue Erusea has always had a bit of Spanish or Latin American flair.

From what I'm seeing in this trailer (same scene, different aircraft) I think that perhaps you can choose what side you fight for in the game. Like the game has two different story lines or meaningful choices. It might be wishful thinking but I think that would be cool.

Ace Combat Fan The people holding hands in the painting Kind of look like the stars in the osean flag, there is even this guy holding only one hand, kind of like the little star on the flag which symbolizes the ex-belkan territory.

I have the theory that the hard drive we see contains all the data of Mihaly's flights (after all, the Sol squadron is an experimental squadron) and the scientist or EASA will use them to give autonomy and/or improvements to the drones with some type of AI, especially that new drone. It also seems to me that the use they give to these technologies is part of the plot of the power struggle between the princess and the scientist. finally ... everything is part of doggo's master plan (Kirk, can you hear me?)

Harling's Mirror reeks of Rothko's Chapel in a way with the girl looking upset.

ok let's strech it a little, that sun in the coat of arms of the plane has a name, it's called the "inti sun" and as you say appears in the flags of Argentina and Uruguay. That symbol come from old incan symbols depicting the sun god, the Inca were mostly located in what's now Peru and Peru is one of the countries which operates MIG 29s these days

Space Elevator and "Can you hear me?" Am I the only one being reminded of MegaMan X?

The part when someone says "you defile this country" etc, the voice is the AWACS guy for Spare squadron so I doubt he's talking about the princess, more likely he's referring to Trigger and his "sins". I hope you can watch and analyze the 11 minutes game play video they showed, it has some interesting info and maybe even a big spoiler about Trigger and why he's in the penal unit.

Sol = Sun = Yellow. Mihaly test #13. Mihaly = Yellow 13. Alternatively, you have Mihaly talking about "what is a nation?" with alluded or just fan-implied mentions of 9/11. 9/11 was a tragedy that completely changed America's (and the world's) mindsets forever. Now in the Ace Combat universe, we had Hoffnung, which was an attack and tragedy that caused Pixy to completely change his outlook and views, and he ended up switching sides because he wanted to destroy all borders and stop wars from being fought for them. You could argue "what is a nation" is answered by "borders". Of course, this is said with the intention to suggest that Mihaly is Pixy. Look at his plane, too: Pixy had a red wing due to his losing one in a battle and surviving, while Mihaly's features a dark grey and reddish orange wingtips. Considering Mihaly is old and and seemingly crippled on some way, you could view the red wingtips as cut or clipped wings, still there but unable to work as intended. Perhaps Pixy still wanted to keep the theme even after CIpher shot him down. Of course, the SU-30 could just be sporting EASA colors and that's nothing of importance beyond singling him out as dangerous. Whatever it may be, I think that "Mihaly Test 13" is going to be used for either the white drone or as part of the new Falken variant. And, if that's the case, and Mihaly is Pixy, it would be something else to consider: Pixy flew Morgan, the predecessor to the Falken. Why wouldn't he want to fly the newest iteration? Plus it would be the second time hew flew a (possibly) laser-equipped plane. Eh. Probably just rambling and grasping at straws.

Nice analysis, but i would like to add some information i noticed: 1-the facilities that are showned at 16:12 remainds me to the fith mission of ace combat 6, that are in the eastern part of the map 2-at 18:05, you can see that those drones are beeing launched from trucks, but those truck don't appear to be military, so i think that it could be some kind of terrorist attack or something like mission 11A from ace combat 5 3- i dont know if it was confirmed already, but in the original trailer, you can see a pak fa at 2:46

Space shuttle could mean a mission in space!

"Can you hear me?" would be a much better catch phrase than "Work off your crimes." Like a treasonous assassination was a pizza binge and if you run enough miles on your treadmill you can pretend it was a salad or something???

The mystery plane near the end of the trailer looks to me like it could be some kind of prototype, early design or predecessor for General Resource's XFA-36A Game from Ace Combat 3. The shapes look very similar!

on the mention of the princess in a more military style outfit, It is very common for Royalty to have the highest rank in their military's and be their supreme commander, it could probably be something like that the shield on the arsenal bird makes me think of a reverse function I field from gundam's universal century where instead of stopping energy weapons it stops balistics

The real question is... are there borders in this game?

AA-11 "Archers" aka QAAM in russian planes in AC, are capable of locking-on at a 90° angle of their targets with the use of a HMD in IRL and the pilot is capable of "guiding" the missile and maintaining lock as long as he keeps its gaze onz the target, I saw that on a wings of russia doc about the MiG-29 which showed such firing procedures, the video in the doc was from the 80's (soviet era) In the japanese version the skies have been Shattered?

It's fun to see what was and wasn't guessed correctly now that the game is out.

Interestingly, MiG-21, Su-37 and Su-47 appear in the new trailer. And in "Famitsu" shown Su-57 and YF-23A Black Widow II. Even Harrier is back. If someone would like to see the planes from Infinity like F-5E, F-20A, X-29, EA-18G, F-15SE, F-16F, F-15S/MTD, F-15SE, Su-27, Su-25, Su-24, X-2, F-16XL, Tornado, X-02, CFA-44, FB-22, F-35A, F-35B, Su-34 and MiG-35D, raise your hand up. And if someone wants to see such aircrafts (such as in DLC) as Rafale B and C, F/A-18C and E, F-16V, MiG-29M and K, F-15N, F-22B and F-22N, let them write "Yes". Additional quests and airplanes could be added to the DLC in the colors of the Osea's allies, ie Yuktobania, Republic of Anea, Aurelia, Sapin, Ustio and the free countries of the Continent of Usea (as well as the IUN organization).

If you see the new gameplay footage theres something in the menu called "aircraft tree." I almost cried seeing that. I wonder if its gonna be like AC5 or infinity.

ACF! A new demo gameplay was released revealing mission 6 and it has alot of information on the story.

I'd like to hear your thoughts/analysis on the Mission 6 demo (The one with the F/A-18F), a video on that would be nice. No sexy trees there, but I'd expect to hear something about sexy rock formations 😂

At first, I thought the "Pilot with the three strikes" was the Erusian fighter at 20:22 but now I believe it is the pilot at 18:00 and 19:21 with three white lines or "strikes". Who knows, it could be referring to both.

My theory is that new FALKEN is a dedicated air to air variant based on the design on the ADLER project. It seems to use technology from the IRL manta aircraft using thrust vectoring instead of conventional elevators for yaw. Such a design is unstable which makes it much more maneuverable if done correctly. The raked back wings are similar to the ADLER's as well and the forward canards seem to look roughly the same as the Morgan. Much of the fuselage and cockpit area has many parts commonality with the ADLER and FALKEN as well. What do you think about this ACF?

Worth mentioning, Sol is actually Latin, Portuguese and Spanish evolved from latin so they kept the word. This is no more evident then when you consider that our solar system is called the Sol system

Erusian Princess doujin when?

I think the *Tester Mihay version 13* might be foreshadowing that Mihay was Yellow 13 from Ace Combat 4

SPOILERS for lots of AC7 in this. 6:24 now that I've seen the whole game, the clock on "9:11" with the telephone next to it can make a lot more sense. 911 definitely alluding to the disaster and the telephone meaning communications. There was a great disaster that involved communications - the satellites all going down and putting the world into chaos. If you want to go further and make some leaps (meaning HUGE guessing / speculation incoming like a volley of Stonehenge fire) you can see the clock showing 6-12 / 1-2; the 6-9 are obscured and 10-2 are mostly / all visible. Missions 6-9 are spent in the penal squadron, doing (what you learn later) to be scouting missions to assist the LRSSG. Your purpose is unknown, thus the numbers are fuzzy or obscured. Then, as mission 10 comes around you become actual military again and work through the LRSSG to turn the tide of the war. That's why 10, 11, 12, 1 and 2 are all visible; you're clear in your purpose and moving towards a clear goal: taking Farbanti. The 1 and 2 can be alluded to as missions 13 and 14 in this situation. HOWEVER: the 1 and 2 are also starting to wear away, just like the game alluding that, while the LRSSG get closer to ending the war, the purpose is becoming unclear again. Is it really just Erusea and Osea at war? Is the *information being used accurate?* After mission 14 (the 2 on the clock) the numbers are gone. We think we've ended the war but at the conclusion of Battle for Farbanti we realize that with the communications networks gone, there is no end to the war anymore. It's just chaos and darkness and nothingness - thus the clock is blank (times of nothing/blindness). This is all me trying to put words to pictures, though, and relies HEAVILY on hindsight to make sense of the trailer itself. Now, one final thing in this scene: Mihaly asks "What is a nation?" Taking into context two things: Mihaly's and Dr. Schroeder's kingdoms (Voslage / Belka respectively) and Sol Squadron's and Schroeder's dialogue, the answer to that question is "people". The Belkan people carried Belka's will out into the world to sow chaos and destruction, while Voslage's people will (as implied by dialogue in Lost Kingdom) carry on the spirit of Voslage even though they have lost their country (Mihaly and Sol squadron gathered are his 'nation' in a way). You can also tie in the dark / light dichotomy to Belka being discussed in the dark and Voslage with sun / sunrise / sunset imagery. If you want to take this further, you can apply this to Strider Squadron itself at the time of mission 20 - being the landless country of pilots all devoted to keeping the skies free from the tyranny of drones. A landless / *borderless* nation. Thus, the 'nation' is struck out by three lines in the intro to mission 20 (I know that's been mentioned before, just wanted to restate it here). And the brick wall? Maybe the transition from order and structure to vagueness. And the clock could also be read as 9+11=20 (20 missions) Man, I hope ACF sees this. Who knows, maybe it's already been said.

That Arsenal Bird is freaking awesome, it will be fun deal with his shield and the drones. I'm also curious to know who's the astronaut is and why she's jumping from the elevator.

I am not sure if anyone is going to read this, and I feel that this will be a spoiler. But considering the information we have from the Mission 6 demo, I feel that I can make an addition to this trailer with hindsight. I noticed ACF never make any mention to the scene when command order the Osean squadron over the space elevator to not attack, and a missile struck down a V-22 Osprey. What if the Osprey that was shot down was in fact carrying the former President of Osea (possibly Harling just because of the mention of Harling's Mirror), and that this particular mission is when Erusia successfully hijacked the 2nd Arsenal Bird. And maybe the missile that struck the Osprey came from Trigger who decided to disobey orders in an attempt to clear a path for the President's plane to evacuate the area but ended up killing the President instead.

I am pretty sure that Mihaily is yellow 13. The hard drive had 13, The plane is similar and has a similar paint scheme with slightly different colors in and if I am correct yellow 13's name was a very similar

I think this might be Belka's last ditch effort to prank the whole Strangereal. Their last effort to make every nation turn on each other out, at this point, of lulz. And probably megacorps stsrted to surface much of their power, leading to 3. Symbolically speaking I think this is kind of a Unsung War sequel, as far is Osea is concerned. Maybe well get a Star Wars like scenario in which some key characters will turncoat and shit repeats again. Im also curious for the dusty scene. Maybe its a result of a nuke. Probably when the player's penal unit were in the middle of an op when something like that exploded. Then they might pull a Razgriz but the cause of the war they tried to uncover may spook them. Also Mihaly could be Cipher. The Pixy is strong with the painting scheme.
