Once you get in the flow of the movement in ac7, this part is something else, its one of those moment where you can take your time, but you want to do it fast and precise, more like a rhythm game, i love it
@@lianguber this clip is the one that convinced me to start speedrunning the game, it was back before I had the canyon memorized so was just reacting to each corner. I was so nervous doing this in a full game speedrun but the tunnel was worse.
There’s a few places like that in the game where you can complete objectives fast enough the dialogue can go out of order making no sense. There’s even places when trying to speedrun AC7 where it ends up being faster to slow down so that the dialogue doesn’t get messed up and cause a time delay.
@@denim_ak Damn, that's pretty impressive to make a game delay this much because you're just...too fast for it. I've witnessed some things like this but never to this extent. Keep your engines roaring high !
I strongly suggest running through this mission with the CFA-44 with ADMM as your special, i loved running through the valley in my nacho cheese dorito before decimating the enemy ground units long before they could get off the ground.
Sounds fun. I use the AA8 on the f22 to get all the planes before take off too. Can usually get all targets before time is over. Is CFA-44 a dlc plane? I think I’ve seen people to the canyon run with it but I’ve never used it.
@denim_ak cfa is part of the experimental planes Dlc. The three that dropped with that one was the Xfa-27: pretty good all around and has access to multi standard missiles. It's like having 4 extra standard missiles that are better in every way. Cfa-44: can dual wield emls and has access to the ADMM. It's (imo) the best jack of all trades plane. There is no mission it can't handle. Shinden II: dual thruster vtol, it's boast pretty low flying speeds but is honestly the weakest of the three. Still a good jet over all.
@denim_ak that would be a no to both question sadly. I just really love the game. But if you are speed running cfa-44 is the most ideal for this mission. It's speed is comparable to the f-22 but trust me when I say the ADMM makes this mission a cake walk. And the dual emls make it second best plane to use on fleet destruction imo
@denim_ak I did successfully beat the game in under 4 hours for a plane skin. I would say planes worth sticking to are dlc planes. Alot of them completely outclasse the vanilla planes. by ALOT.
@@odjflone8330 since making this video ive learned that the hardest part of the canyon can actually be carefully flown over. It’s the two really sharp turns about 2/3rds of the way through. They’re low enough to make it over the wall without triggering radar. You can see it in my “speedrunning Ace Combat 7’s most intense level” video
This is the part where I say if you dug this than consider subscribing, I’ve decided only to post when I think I have something really good, if you like cool stuff from games I think you’ll like my channel. Thanks ✌️
@@PSP27699 No need. It's not particularly hard it just takes practice. Also I tried multiple planes and the first time I was successful was with the tom cat.
@@Anthony-n4h2u I think it was like 70. I’ve got it memorized now so can do it faster but it doesn’t look as cool as when you’re just spiraling for your life reacting to each corner.
I’m actually using a lot of yaw here, but rolling and pulling back turns way tighter and is a lot more fun to pull off. The yaw is how I’m controlling altitude when turned on my side.
