This kind of game makes me want to experience not just VR but also Ace Combat for the first time. Sitting inside a vehicle makes the most sense to me for VR.
I've played every Ace Combat game, since it was called Air Combat on PS 1. The experience to look around, without the use of joystick or multiple tv's, is Perfect for this game.! The only thing missing.., is a motorized swivel chair, that inverts & rolls.
I have a VR and DCS world on my PC with a flight stick and throttle. It’s cool but also a huge learning curve. This will be fun and more approachable for beginners
OH MY GOD! Ok, I just noticed that when you fly through the clouds, especially for a very long time, THE MUSIC MUFFLES! *THAT IS SO FREAKING COOL!!!* Also, I cant express enough how AMAZING THIS SOUNDTRACK IS!!! There are so many hints to songs from older titles and it just brings back so much nostalgia........... I can’t wait for this game... 3 YEARS SINCE ITS ANNOUNCEMENT!!! ITS HAPPENING!!!

It's not Ace Combat if there isn't a over abundance of planes to fly but there's always one that you wish was on the list that is still in game just not as a playable aircraft.
Awesome! I've been playing the Ace Combat series since Ace Combat 2, and that's pretty amazing! For old players, sounds like a dream comming true! Still impressed with the realism, especially the fire sounds! 🇧🇷
ElCapo FOD Walk is basically Foreign Object Debris Walk. Airport ground crews walk the tarmac looking for things that could cause damage to an aircraft.
You cry babies whining about realisim needs to understand... THIS SERIES from ace combat 1 to 7 has been a ARCADE game, you can pretend its a sim, however the graphics improved al ot and that much I LOVE! If you want a sim so bad, recreate this mission in the DCS Game with F-15's and bears bombing
Raija agree it’s a arcade type game if n e one wants a real sim play DCS world now that’s a hard core sim but it’s also nice to take a break and play this for a change
Another awesome game for VR.. even if it's not completely playable in VR.. still good enough to be inside the cockpit and be able to look side to side, up and down..... VR is going from strength to strength.... there are so many people like me who simply do not play normal 2d games anymore... I have such a massive Backlog of awesome games on VR... been a gamer for over 30 years, owned all systems, however the VR has resurrected the player in me again.... games in VR are just something else.. absolutly incredible....many people diss VR simply because they have no idea coz they never experienced it or the 300+ games and experiences, ignorance is bliss!... a highlight in VR at the start was.... being inside the Apollo 11 shuttle, and handling the controls, all the way to the moon, and landing... its something I could have only dreamed about.. if u can get into VR, ull never go back.. ever
@@MrNiceKnife yeah buddy. It's affordable and fantastic. So many games and experiences... plus u can watch DVDs blu rays and 3d movies in front of a big screen with 3d sound. Add nice speakers and u can have 7.1 surround sound... it's like sitting in the theatre. U get 3 screen sizes to pick from
@@bolddave1972 Hey bud.. it's called "Apollo 11 VR" ull find it on the app store really cheap... it's basically a beautiful simulation of what it would have been like to go to the moon. Sure it isn't perfect but u get to immerse yourself as much as possible, i think u will enjoy it if you are a bit of a space geek like myself. U get to either sit and relax inside the cabin for the whole thing, and get out.. or u can pilot the ship.... it's got replay value. I love just sitting there and soaking in the immersion... it was the first decent and realistic space simulation in VR.... if u get it lemme know how u go buddy. Cheers

@@Mrwizard-ck7oe that is right in some way, but i remember when i still played it, when i played the missions on expert difficulty (with the lowest ammo count) i think you got 999 MG rounds, 72 missiles? or maybe they were the XMA4 or XMA6 err i dont remember that well haha, anyway, i understand that with the playstyle ace combat has limiting you to an extremely realistic ammo supply before having to go to the airfield would make it really boringw
Ace Combat is about awesome feats of solo destroying entire air forces and nation-killing superweapons with a single jet. I for one wouldn't want to have a single mission take 8273 hours because I'm flying back and forth 40 times per mission because I carry six missiles and there's 70 different enemies I need to kill, and they all have flares and chaff and shoot at me from a horizon away while my flight computer drones on about "TERRAIN: PULL UP". I want to get out there, pulling 50 million Gs continually and rapid-firing a stream of missiles while my overworked Belkan slaves reattach munition via teleportation, badass music blaring and my deadliest foe waxing philosophical about "What is a nation?" in a deep, gruff voice. I want to thread the needle inside a canyon in a jumbo jet while helicopters and SAMs whiz overhead and missiles streak by off my wingtips. I want to scream through the winding innards of a massive enemy facility, flying on my wingtips at Mach 2 and pulling gut-wrenching turns with blast doors slamming shut in my path. I want to rake lasers and railguns and tactical nukes across enemy jets, listening to their aces whining about "He's too fast!" or "Aren't numbers supposed to count for something?" and drinking their tears. I want to pull alongside a falling satellite headed towards a city, guns blazing as I dismantle it in a desperate race against time and gravity. I want to hear my turbojets howl as I hug the ground, weaving from side to side and hunting down jammers as a giant enemy death star laser scours the sky and burns my squadronmates from existence. I want that melty, high-cholesterol, stringy and oh-so-savory plate of epic cheese bacon that is Ace Combat.
We are getting there soon it will be released. I honestly can't wait any longer I waited 3 years for this since it was announced and then the delays then finally actual confirmed release date, the strangereal edition, ac5 with pre order or Ac6 for Xbox one ,the history book and the VR mode guess good things do come when you wait.
The amount of cry babies in the comments crying about realism is cringe worthy. This was never meant to be a simulator to begin with. So stop complaining about a jet carrying 50+ missiles and enjoy the game or go back to DCS or flightsim.

Is it really THE Mobius 1? I think it should be a bit obvious with the Callsign and the Tango Line music from 04.. that's the first AC I ever played and finished

Yep. I have Amblyopia (basically severe lazy eye) in my left eye. Parts of the eye didn't develop because I didn't wear a patch like I should've. Oh well, Shit happens.
Imagine if someone released a realistic SIM with these graphics. We're still waiting. One day while flying along in a real plane. I looked out of the cockpit and said to myself. 'Wow it's just like the simulator''. This is an example of how good graphics are now.

KILLERMEXICAN210 I used the Nosferatu whenever I knew I had a bunch of targets on the ground. But in a mission like Selumna Peak, I only used the Raptor for the strict air to air missions... I’m glad I never traded in my 360, I can play that game whenever

Mobius One's F-22 carries 100+ "regular" missiles... Assume they're sidewinders and cost 600k per missile, that is over 60 million right there. Talk about an expensive sortie lol.
I was playing that mission where you have to identify friendly and foe ground units. A yellow SAM fired a missile then turned blue a split second before the missile missed me. Good times.
All this mission is missing is Ace Combat 5’s Mission 4 soundtrack. Not that this mission OST is bad. But it would be awesome with Ace Combat 5’s soundtrack. 😍😍😍
I used to be a die hard PS fan. Until I realized that AC6, was only being released on the 360., AND, it would be MULTIPLAYER, too(for the 1st time, EVER).! I thoroughly enjoyed the multiplayer. It was why I bought a XBox 360, because AC had abandoned, the PlayStation console. Now that AC is back, w/VR only available on PS, I feel robbed yet again. Because I want to know what it feels like, to be able to look around naturally in the game, I'm about to waste money on a console, that I will mostly only play one game on....
Love those DCS specialists that don't know the difference of the cockpit of the F-16 and F-22 and talks how ace combat is unrealistic and dcs for pros lol
I played Falcon 4.0 and while looking at the cockpit in this video (F-22) I thought for a while "hmmm is this the F-16? Hmmm I am not sure the HUD looks a bit different but maybe it`s a different or newer F-16....." Such minor mistakes like not even knowing what airplane is currently in use, happen to the best of us....
If you have to keep rolling your aircraft in order to stay locked on your enemy you aren't using rudder/yaw and obviously are a noob to modern jet dog fighting. They let the wrong guy (dev?) present this game on vr. Look behind. I wanna see my wings while i bank. Keep your head on a swivel.
Right, I'm getting sick of hearing this. This is obviously a STORY BASED ARCADE GAME! SO STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT REALISM! ITS NOT TRYING TO BE! If you want realism, go play DSC or Falcon or whatever else is out there in the simulator world.
So if these cry babies say this game isn't realistic, the I bet you wanted to play this but you didn't have a PS4 and PSVR cause you already spend your money to buy a high end pc and dlc for that game.... Oops
Well, we'll see if they addressed that, sir though dont expect they would, since it's an arcade flight action game, not a flight simulator in the first place.
If haptic suit has effects like you can literally feel how an air transport takes off, that would make ace combat really realistic, a joystick feels like your really flying one
