This game in VR is Amazing. You can feel the speed and the dog fights are exhilarating. I really hope Ace Combat 8 has a full blown VR game for PSVR2 I would buy it in a heartbeat.
There are lots of things I like about this installment, gameplay-wise. AA guns are no longer a joke and can actually move, ships have been buffed and can shoot down your missiles with their CIWS, AD tanks are actually dangerous, and enemy fighter jets are better at taking opportunities.
@@kylerowland1227 oh man I loved it so much as a kid. The music. The realism (at the time top of the line) the planes and everything. I played the new ace combat recently and liked it but didn’t get the same feeling as I did from #4.
@@someone-gp5nt oh I know it’s good I have ace combat 7. Amazing game. But ace combat 4 was the first one I got when I was young and a couple of the missions on it are my favorite out of them all. Especially the night time thunder storm all hell breaking loose mission. The music the planes the tension. By far ace combat is in my top 5 game series.
That’s because there is no difference. This is a PS4 game, and he’s just playing it on PS5. There is no PS5 version of this game. It’s just another misleading video. It also doesn’t have HDR. He’s using the PS5’s forced HDR which just jacks up the picture settings. It’s definitely not the same thing as native HDR.
Tem até de Play2, Pla3 e Play4 O jogo nunca pra falência como o Obscure 1 e Obscure 2 de Play 2. O jogo ficou tão famoso, que a empresa vendeu muito esses jogos até criar uma franquia, e evoluindo muito 💙
What would help with realism is if these missions were designed for finite ordinance. As in, if a missile is fired, we should see it off the aircraft. And run out if they aren’t used properly. I know this is an “arcade simulation”. But it would be fun if there was a little more realism available in a separate mode of play. Same with fuel. In this video, the amount of afterburner used would have literally dried out those tanks long before this mission was over.
Another lying video. This game does not have a PS5 version. This is a PS4 game, being played on a PS5. This game also does not support HDR. I’m so sick of these videos saying they’re in HDR. You’re using the PS5’s forced HDR mode, which is definitely not the same thing as native HDR, and washes out the image.
@@ivankaracic7357 It's just a control-ler-setting. Not a difficulty-level. The control-setting in tge video doesn't allow for rolls and such. It's a huge limitation and really doesn't give you the joy of "flying". I never understood why they included it in their games.
Acompanhado esse franquia desde o PS1. Hoje duas decadas depois, os projetistas não conseguiram colocar um "teto operacional" realista. O jogador decola e em menos de 6 segundos já está no "teto operacional" máximo da aeronave combatendo o adversário... tipo, não tem física no jogo sobre isso, com o mesmo desempenho que a aeronave decola ela chega no teto máximo do jogo. Em grandes altitudes as manobras da aeronaves ficam mais restritas por causa da densidade atmosfera. No jogo não importa se está no nível do mar ou em atitude máxima, a aeronave sempre tem o mesmo desempenho. Outra coisa, não existe em combates aeros o uso 100% da missão com pós-combustão ativada... como ocorre no jogo. Esse recurso está directamente ligado à estrutura física da aeronave. Boa parte das manobras apresentadas no jogo literalmente causaria à quebra da aeronave e outra... nenhum piloto seria tolo por completo para conduzir sua aeronave em modo full, pois sua sua assinatura em qualquer radar fica bem evidente. Pós-combustão é uma das coisas mais melindrosa no combate aero e quase sempre só é utilizado em aproximação e evasão e olha lá. Gosto muito desse jogo, mais ainda está longe de um jogo realista. Creio que ainda vai mais umas décadas para os criadores ajustar alguns parâmetros para a realidade.
Na minha opinião ace combat (mais especificamente o 7, já que foi o único que joguei até hoje) é um jogo arcade, que põe em primeiro lugar a diversão/facilidade de jogar e o realismo em segundo. Seria como o need for speed payback, que é um dos jogos de corrida mas irrealistas no mercado mas ainda é divertido. Mas entendo seu ponto, a parte da altitude máxima me deixou frustrado
o game nao é feito para ser um simulador mano, e sim um arcade de combate aereo, acho que as suas expectativas sobre o jogo eram uma, e a tematica do jogo é outra!
First time playing an Ace Combat game ? Use expert control setting, it gives you full control over your aircraft. And yes i would buy AC7 again on Ps5 just to Ace it again
@@Reposterkkkk I know, but what's the challenge then if you solve everything with missiles? It's boring. An enemy bomber! Missile! A dogfight? More missiles! A tank! Missile. A missile incoming? Create a cloud of missiles around you they won't reach you! Bombing with precision? Just dump missiles. «Hey man there is a sniper behind this tree» Say no more, missile! «What is your preferred weapon? AMRAAM? Sidewinder? MICA? Apex?» Uh, I don't know, I only use missiles! I would be quickly bored. Normally you use cheats to have all that unlimited power! Just imagine if you play like Mariokart and you only have red shells. Or any game actually. Even real arcade games had upgrades and other weapons since Gradius, Xevious, R-Type, Parodius etc. «NAH! NO PLASMA GUNS OR LASERS! ONLY MISSILES!» [radar alert]Oh wait, a mountain! If I fire enough missiles at it I may go through it. Just a few more Fox Twos, Yeah that's the thing!
I played it in PS1 20 yrs ago And nothing has changed except some detail graphics! Not much more cinematics ! They could make it mkre thrilling! I wonder why they just didn’t!!!!!! 😐
@@AIRTON7 eu vi que tinha uma opção de reflexo mas mesmo desligado não vi diferença nenhuma, o jeito foi abaixar o brilho da tv amenizou mas ainda sim as missões noturnas tem uma imersão melhor nos combates.
