And for the presentation alone I think this battle takes the cake for the best 1v1 in Ace Combat. Hot take, I don't care - this fight never fails to make me feel emotional.
Yup, always the Su-37. It's pre-rendered CGI rather than real-time (and is a paint scheme not in the game). That's why I decided it was the 'canon' aircraft for Antares at the end of the game. Which makes more sense to be than an F-22A, since Martinez Security are a PMC and so more likely to have top-end Russian hardware vs top-en US hardware.
It seems few people notice that this game is called Joint assault, which, actually support 4 player team-up as a real squad , and by doing so some missions will split you into 2 groups and do 2 missions at once. And for the last mission there are actually 4 planes fighting Sulejmani in the end.... Yea that's what i call an squad! Poor Sulejmani.
The final battle theme is so powerful it's honestly one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in a video game, it's almost like it's saying "I'm sorry, I really don't want it to be this way, but it must be done, there's nothing we can do to change it now, I'm sorry, Old Friend."
14:27 you can't help but feel terrible for Sulejmani. He is one of the few aces in the series that I've felt genuine sadness and empathy for. Most Aces in the series fight for their nation, but Sulejmani literally is fighting for his LIFE. It's sad...
Check the Japanese version of the mission at a later date. He in the Japanese dubbing of Joint Assault is what you are currently describing right now but taken up to 11 essentially; in the later part of that mission Sulejmani is truly unhinged and broken inside the cockpit.
I know this, no matter how bad you feel for him. You can't ever shake the fact that he was willing to help with the Golden Axe Plan into a continuous war to which those involved will profit from, including himself. Sulejmani believed that getting all the money and power would bring back the things he lost, even his family. But the truth was, that his family chose to abandon/sell him to save their own hides, and that he was taking his anger and frustration out on everyone for the life he was forced to live, plus believing that getting a lot of money would help to the point of worship. He was willing to take away and/or subject a lot of futures of others into where he was for his personal wishes that he would have found out the hard way for certain desires. That there are just some things in life money can't buy. If he only got out of his anger, his pain and suffering and his insanity enough to realize that. Once Antares took enough from him, all that was left is trying to best his former. There's a limit for how much a person feels sorry for Sulemanji until they keep in mind that he's still an enemy that had to be put down for good. As for Olivieri, what a greedy son of a gun. All this so he could profit from the war continuing to escalate. Man...people make a dollar for currency and this is what happens when certain people get too hungry for money. I'm pretty sure after this mission, his insurance company is taking quite the hit, reputation and everything once the truth was revealed to the public.
Just killed him on Ace mode and got a rank of S using F-22 Raptor with HVM (Heavy Missles/56 stocks?) for maximum damage and SOD (Stand-off Dispenser) for the cruiser w/ SAMS and battle ships w/ SAMS. I tuned my F-22, prioritizing "stability" and "mobility" while downing the defense and speed. HVM and MG is your only friend on this battle so use wisely.
how nostalgic,i played this game when i was a child on a PSP Sulejmani is the best villain i've seen so far on Ace combat serial, and this final battle was so fckn epic !!! Sweet child o'mine...
12 years have passed..I was a child playing this game, and 20:50 still makes me tear...I will always have this game in my heart. Truly a masterpiece of its kind and time ♥
That was the intention I've sure, but it was rather poorly implemented, with his entire backstory being provided during the final battle with him, rather than woven into the whole game. He's most memorable for being a real pain in the arse to fight.
I've played a finished it a year ago, but I'm not going to be uploading any videos of it if that's what you mean. It's just not possible to capture video from a Nintendo 3DS and I wouldn't want to resort to trying to play with a video camera pointed at the screen.
Your-are-the-best-pilot I've ever seen in this game! I want learn to fly like you! You are the boss, Friend! I thought that I was a good player in this game but you are the best. Very good video!
after actually playing this game and realizing how hard this boss battle is it makes me apreciate this video more than I do already. and I love how the dialogue is beautifully timed with the score, specially at 9:55 and 14:27. I love this video.
The Su-30MKI isn't in the game at all. Though that doesn't mean they haven't made a less than totally accurate Su-37 model. :) For example, in AC Assault Horizon, they use the same model for the AI Su-27's as they do the Su-35BM. The tail boom is the give away there.
Shamrock (Garuda 2): It's not just Sunny Bay, it's the whole world. And it will take time to peace to be fully restored. I'm proud to have seen you mature through Lolirock's battle against the smartphone monster and this ordeal. And so are Iris, Talia and Auriana proud of us. Without you and without Lolirock, Mephisto and Praxina's plan might have succeeded. Thank you, Talisman. And a special thanks to you, Iris, Talia... And Auriana. You guys have gotten the concert tickets for those who have accessed that guy's blog tonight.
I had to stall while i was fighting him to increase maneurability because sulejmanis varcolac is manueverable as hell. Used up 17 TLS and was about to ran out of gun ammo, i think it was like 350+. Used missiles to stop him from firing.
There are two songs from Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy in here. At 9:08 is the song from "Groupies", and at 12:35 is the song from the final part of the Saint Ark attack, Mission 21.
@PinoyLabanFighter198 lol, well, if you have a look down the list, I started this project in the middle of May, so its taken me one and a half months to get through them all. It wasn't so much finding the time as just taking a lot of it.
the soundtrack that plays when antares emegres victorius @16:50 is cool ! Does anyone knows the title of that track ? I can't seem find it everywhere, though
Take a shot every time Hazawa says a recycled line like "Hostile has been destroyed!". I guarantee you'll die of alcohol poisoning within the first 10 missions.
@@calamitousenigma9052 How about every time she talks 1.) OVER story/mission-critical dialogue or 2.) about the most unnecessary things (gun hits, "cOmBaT mAnEuVeRs")
16:35 Vin Diesel, Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, Louis Leterrier and everyone involved in Fast X when everything in their lives are destroyed by the Aces of the Ace Combat universe.
Given the big point they made about military reinforcements, I honestly think it's... a little underwhelming. It's probably hardware, but to really make it count they probably needed something like AC6's Allied Attack mechanic. Or failing that, just have a big blue blob move into the area and start shooting everything hostile, making it possible to stop an enemy rush or something.
I cant fly like that ._. Only in this game so I quitted in the first mission. But now you, how can you do that? Or is it just the first plane cannot do that maneuvering?
Joint Assault is a really weird one in that they did change a lot of the feel of the game. It's slow. Starting off in the Phantom with no upgrades is actually painfully slow. But so is the enemy AI. They are easy to shoot down. As you unlock new aircraft and can apply upgrade to them, it will get a *lot* better, though the way the game handles momentum, such as while rolling, is still a bit strange. Very weird game all together really. While the normal AI is, well... boring, the 'super aces' like Sulejmani and the ones you will encounter in the two SP missions are some of the most cheap and annoying AI in the whole series.
+BrySkye ohh I see thanks bro. Gotta give you a subscribe. Soo it seems to be that my problem is only at the jet itself not the controls? :> cuz' ya'know I feel like a first timer after playing the first mission ;-; when I turn left it just go to turn left not rotating the whole body so I can maneuver :/ did you get what I mean? Sorry I can't speak english well.
gabe logan Oh, that is something different. You need to go into the options and change the controls from "Normal" to "Expert". That will change the left and right controls from 'turn' to 'roll', so you can fly upside down, etc.
mohamed hamid You mean how the camera keeps looking at the enemy? That's done by holding down the △ button, and applies to all Ace Combat games except the first two on the original Playstation. But as for the flying itself, I'm not doing anything special. When he flies behind me, I turn to follow.
So like. I can't be the only person who thinks this game's plot is kinda silly, right? I mean, the whole Golden Axe Plan is just *cartoonishly* evil, and Sulejmani's backstory is the most over-the-top Sad™ thing I've ever heard. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's still fun, but it's just a liiiittle bit silly, y'know?
but more player fun well i have space battle expect from ace combat and star wars battlefront 2 3rds person shooter why reason game mode what call Assault i dont know much team space battle i one be solo. we have work fighters and bomber.
I agree with you 100%. This is the first game in the series that I had taken note of cringe worthy voice acting. Kirakov actually amused me, because he reminded me of Chopper from AC5.
