What a machine, I can't believe this is 1981, I was born in 84 and one of my early memories around 89-90 was playing something similar to this but on my commadore 64(pretty sure it was called chips). I got my own machine when I was 10 or 11 (jpm switchback). I am really getting back in to fruit machines from the 80's and have been enjoying the videos. I have so many questions as I have found it a struggle to find detailed information online. Great video Chris
Heh! What a gem. Even before my playing days (and that’s saying something), I remember seeing it in Colchester bus park cafe when I was about 14. It all seemed very futuristic compared to EW Nudger and the like… love those retro sounds too.
Another true gem from the early 80s and so great to hear those sounds again .remember them much when they came out and as you say they vanished really quickly .very innotive stuff by ace at the time .I never trusted them just like you chris .thanks for the vid and I do see them I'm a different light now .Great also to see the team effort .we'll done sas
Didn’t last long chris bcoz of the cheat, put 10p in, turn off machine, hold down start, then turn bk on for a guaranteed cherry on 1st real that gambled upto jackpot most times👍👍👍
These weren't around for long. I'm pretty sure that there was a similar machine to SW that paid £1 for 3 Cherries; Jacky for 4. Never played it but was happy to watch someone else lose lol.
I remember this clearly along with others, played this in Colin and Bob's amusements down Reculver 40 years odd ago. Played it in emulator but not quite the same. Fucking Brill vid Chris, you need to teach her how to gamble😏
