Ya, I've never played SC online either but I love to watch people play.

How many players would have fallen for that one-base early attack Moon did? But Ace stayed so calm and confident and came up with such amazing strategy! What an "Ace"!

@ShantyManCan And yes, there is some forms of long range bombardment each class has. Siege tanks, Colossus, Brood lords, etc.

I've never played Starcraft or Starcraft 2, but fuck this gets me pumped.

I didn't play SC2 for quite some time (2-3 months now due to lack of time =( ) and I still get all excited seeing these unordinary playstyles from korea and hearing Day9 comentating :D BTW: did Moon change from WC3 to SC2? :S If yes, when?

@ShantyManCan Well, The main issue is investment. Investing in defense to stay at home on the base is only done if need be, because you are using potential army resources. In a situation where it is just static defense in your base vs an opponents army, you are most likely going to lose. Even if your defenses hold off, your opponent has wiped out your army, most of your defense and your economy with it. After doing the damage, he can stay at home and grow stronger as you try to recover.

8:45 Gotta love Ace just for that. Most Korean players have emotionless robot faces but Ace is definitely human.

@ShantyManCan They dont lose the game for no reason, when you play SC long enough you will know when you have been defeated. So you choose the surrender option, Moon in this video knew he had lost cause he had no ant-air units so he surrendered.

@gutxman So they just give up? Most RTS games if you have a couple of base defences there army would break on them because I see no long range bombardment. Is there long range bombardment in this game?

If I was Moon I would have been REALLY pissed at the crowd last game. It cost him a definite win. There should be a non-clapping rule except for before when the game starts and after the game ends..

each race has different hotkeys and strategies, its like a pro boxer switching to mui thai he can't be the best if he doesn't focus on one

@slalom882 Yeah, he is from Germany. Honestly, put yourself in his shoes. It's very difficult to speak a 2nd language as well as your native language. Would you want to be criticized? I don't think so. I am assuming your American. We have this idea in America that it is not okay when someone else does not live up to our standards, even when the odds are against them. However, if we were to be in that position we complain that it is not fair. There is no consistency. Who cares about an accent?

Ganz ehrlich, in 10 minuten habe ich mit den terannern eine weit aus grössere Armee als was die beiden aufbauen, zudem habe ich bis dahin schon einige Upgrades durchgeführt. Also für mich sind die beiden nicht die grössten Spieler.

i quit this game after taking a few months break and getting booted out of gm to diamond...wtf. then seasons end too fast unless u play this 24/7 some ppl play like a thousand games per season. i've literally dropped from rank 1 to 7 in the last 24 hrs of a season closing

Can somebody explain why they win or lose for no reason? They don't destroy their base they lose a skirmish and lose the game? I haven’t played SC before can somebody explain please?
