@KAmaKAsa1 the headsets they wear are engineered for these situations and are 110% soundproof. Moon didn't hear a thing from the audiance throughout the entire tournament.
07:44 "he sees the 2nd stargate!" as he saw it being completed, and considering he was being chased by a phoenix at the time, i think it's safe to assume he knew there was another stargate ;)
wp by moon. some players would've been tempted to try and finish after the first major battle ace lost. moon remained patient and finished with a solid play
@shantymancan basically they lost all their units and wont be given enough time to recuperate. They could take their chances and hope the enemy won't rush but the probability of that happening is very low
@BarcaLioMessi Then how come, in game 2, as soon as crowd shouts while seeing nydus being built (not launched, built !), Moon checks his base. They definitly could hear the crowd imho.
@ShantyManCan When your main force is taken out your quit . I've had times when my main void ray army takes out enough of the enemy's stalkers so they'll have no anti-air defense . Instead of watching your base get destroyed, you quit
just an out of the box question. are there any performance enhancing drugs to increase APM? or are the players tested for any banned medication after the tournament?
@reaperchil what asian commentator? if u watch the initial finals' match "Ace vs. Moon - Starcraft 2 IEM 2011 Grand Final 1/5", at about 3 min, the 2 commentators do not look asians to me...
Can somebody explain why they win or lose for no reason? They don't destroy their base they lose a skirmish and lose the game? I haven’t played SC before can somebody explain please?
these guys make a lot of errors. wind from china is so much better than all these on youtube. (rank 1 global gm)i saw him when he was lower rated a couple months ago. his play is more standard, but so strong like bisu on sc1.
@KAmaKAsa1 I aboslutely agree. The audience cheering prematurely absolutely gave the game away. there should be an audience police for all lan tournaments to nab stupid audience members who give away the game like that.
