A mi también. Incluso mirando el esquemático no podía entender como era posible que ese ADP_ID vaya a gnd. Asumo que lo hace el jack de entrada de la notebook y que se rompió internamente
Hello my friend , I often watch your repair videos and I really appreciate your repairs. I don't know if it's the same but on an acer aspire 5 I had the same problem, and it was only the charger. Because the tip of the charger is different on these models. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just wanted to share my experience with you. Sincerely.
Yes you are correct on this one. If we have charging pin that is internally connected to ground ADP_ID will be ground and charging circuit should work.
vidéo very interesting as always... but i don't understand, what is the real problem ? the charger ? the connector ? And one more question please...why 24V on the gate Pin mosfet, why not 19V ? thank you very much from France.
In our case we have eliminated the problem. We could change the charging port or look for original charger and test. But our workaround will work all the time. and laptop should work. Since it was N Channel mosfet We need higher supply at Gate Pin then the voltage given at Drain Pin.
