We put a paperbark maple front and center in our yard. It’s just a baby but the bark is already peeling with that gorgeous cinnamon color. We get so many compliments on it.
Hi just a suggestion for videos like this they would be a lot more helpful if you could include growing information such as height, width, soil requirements, light requirements, water requirements, susceptibility to disease pests, etc and any other tips and tricks helpful to grow the tree. I'm pretty sure you didn't mention any of this in the video.

hi i have a paper bark maple about 25 years old now and doing well , also a few other acers my favourites are acer palmatum linerlobum, and acer japonicaAurem, i have a few 35 year old acer disectum trees in wooden oak half barrels which are doing sort of ok ,i have repotted them this year but had to remove some root ball , one is struggling im limited for space im in staffordshire England

Paperbark is a really cool one. I also ordered one from MrMaple and it's the only one that died. All the leaves turned brown and fell off 2 weeks after arriving, but all my other maples from MrMaple are great. Not why the paperbark died. Another tree with cool bark is the Arakawa. Love Maples!!
I bought a couple of these from you after looking for a while locally. I hope I live long enough to see them at maturity My other favorite bark interest is the American hornbeam (muscle wood). Very attractive smooth grey/blue colored bark.
