I am using an 144Hz 4ms monitor and I can't complain (I am playing mainly FPS). Some people just are too scared if the response time is >1ms (one of the biggest mistakes is to get a 75Hz 1ms monitor instead of 144Hz 4ms) P.S. This is an amazing solution for a second monitor, keep going
I think that's a perfect monitor for a second monitor like if you're streaming have stuff pop up on there or pull something up on there quick while gaming
Mr Clyburn Yeah. If I ever need to get a secondary monitor, it would be this one. Only for the sole purpose of having an extra screen to use some extra windows. Although, it wouldn’t work well as a primary
How are you supposed to connect your keyboard and mouse and browse on google for things like twitch and stuff cause I want to start streaming and I need a good monitor
I got this from Amazon for $70. It's perfect. I use it along with my laptop as a 2nd monitor hooked up to a docking station. Picture is crisp and clear and it has a small footprint for my work at home desk. I initially bought a 24" monitor but it was too big for my needs.
Im actually using it with my laptop too as a second screen but I wonder if there is anyway of making the monitor turn on automatically when you turn on the laptop... anyone knows how?
thank you so much for the kind words! And yes its great for the PS4, I actually tested it with a PS4 Pro in the gaming performance review on this monitor, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LWLeyuQLjf4.html
I'm buying a CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Ultra GUA510 Gaming Desktop - 8GB, 1TB HDD do u think the monitor will work with it for gaming fortnite etc. And maybe Livestreaming This was a month ago I know alot about PC's now chill
Would you recommend this monitor for gaming? Like fortnite, because i been searching for one for a little bit now and i want to know if you think this is good for games.
im totally buying it for gaming lol. i play games more then anything and its better quality then my lcd 60hz panel i have now as my main. By the sounds of it this has great colour and is really good fro gaming so it will turn my current main monitor into a 3rd monitor.
BRU this is a gaming monitor and it runs faster for gaming and U should know and if u get a normal pc,it runs kinda slow for gaming and other stuff but u shouldn’t buy a gaming monitor for school u should buy two monitors one for school and one for gaming I mean u can get a normal one and a gaming one
IKH TV it’s good! Only thing is that it points down a little but putting something under it helps. And no remote or speakers. You have to buy speakers or wear a headset when gaming
I just got this monitor today and I love it. It looks like there is a protective layer on it? Can I take it off or is it just the way the screen looks?
living in germany is a lil bit hard time for tech guys. this monitor here is 25 to 30 bucks more expensive (113,57 eur.) everything i see on youtube where want to safe some cash and then look on our market and the prices... its allways 20% up. yes its still cheap if you compare to the others and does look freaking nice. you just have to buy it if you are looking for a new monitor thx for the review
Max res of this is just 1920x1080, going above that is just gonna give you a little blurry and not pleasing look really. If u really want 4k gaming, i suggest invest more for that specific monitor.
personally i just needed a 2nd monitor my old 2nd monitor finally died after 6 years or so so this rlly helped thx alot for the video for gaming dual monitor supoport is a life saver :P
I watched this video because I’m thinking of getting one. I would get another one that’s better but my parents doesn’t have that much money. I’m selling my dirt bike and Xbox to buy this $800 PC. So this monitor will come in handy lol. This monitor does look really good. So I’m excited
the funny thing is all of them out there are LCD, LED, LCD it's all the same thing Liquid Crystal Display. LED was a big thing vs the old CCFL, (fluorescent bulbs) i don't think any one makes CCFLs anymore, so dollars to donuts it IS indeed an LED back lit monitor, if it isn't, go buy lottery ticket.
@@skullslashermo5001 hey man, same here. I've been learning alot lately. check out some of my other vids, it's all basicsly me starting into the pc gaming space doing upgrades. and I was a solid only console gamer before, I knew 0% about PC. If you don't mind me asking, what is the model # of the PC your picking up? Also, are you using it for gaming or just daily PC use.
I play modern warfare on this best temporary monitor if you break your main monitor and i kept it just in case awesome monitor i actually played better on this small screen
I’ve heard there is a 3.5 mm audio output but can’t find it. There’s also audio settings which leads me to believe that’s true. If it is, could you tell where on the monitor I can find it? Thanks!
I’m thinking about buying it tomorrow but I need to know how can I hook up speakers to it ? While using my hdmi for audio I’m a console players by the way
@@jalanismith1728 not to the monitor. but if you are on console, what you would do it, plug your speakers (3.5 mm) right into your controller just like it was a headset.
I was watching this video on my laptop and my dad walked by, looked at the screen with a disgusted expression on his face and said “what the hell are you wasting your time watching that garbage for?” He’s so abusive. I need to move ASAP.
Hi, I have a Lenovo idea pad 320 15ikb HD, it has a resolution of 1366x768, if I buy this monitor and connect it to my laptop, will the monitor display my game as 1920x1080? Thank you!
So I have my ps4 connected to this exact monitor and no sound is coming out of it. I have a game that I love to play but sound is crucial to the gameplay. Does anyone know how to get sound out of it?
@@ChrisFood you can ether buy speaker and I think you can connect that to the monitor. Or your cheapest way is connect the headset that came with your ps4 or the one you already have to the controller. I wouldn’t be so sure on the speakers because I’m not sure if there is an outlet you can plug it into.
how can I tell if a monitor comes with a built in camera? I bought a new monitor to hook up to my laptop for Zoom meetings and it doesn't come with a camera - thanks.
i have this monitor,i try using 1080p but for some reason the screen is really wide, for example i cannot see the back arrow or that little windows button in the corner.
that's strange. Is it happening while in the same application? is this happening while your using the same application, or does it only happen when you change apps or pages?
@@BorgWarnerKP39 yes it's amazing bro the acer sb230 u got to set the settings tho. I also did minimal tweaks like brightness, black level etc alos set the refresh rate but otherwise its a great monitor for the price
Im going for a $200 dual monitor gaming setup (not including pc) and I think I might go with this monitor or a BenQ monitor that is about $10 more. I am a streamer and I want to improve my setup. Is this a good monitor to stream on?
im sorry this might be a stupid question but i have a PS4 wich is why i want to buy this and i want to ask, do i need a PC to be able to use the same things like windows? or can i use the moniter itself like that
I'm new to this, how do I set it up to my new Pc? There are several hdmi ports and I've been told to plug it into the graphic cards and it's not working. Much appreciated.
