The only thing missing in this review is the fold capabilities. For example, is the hinge decent, does it go all the way 360, is it noisy, is it sturdy? No footage of it either :(
This is one of the best reviews I’ve watched! I love how you covered all aspects about it. I’m purchasing a new computer for school, I want it to be a reasonable price. Your review has played a vital part in my decision making so I would like to thank you! Keep up the good work! :)
This thing is a beast! Just got an i7 myself and I'm impressed. It runs everything super snappy. Can run games no problem even though is not a gaming laptop.
I bought a SPIN5 (R5/16/512) in November at 4900RMB (~800USD). I really dont see much difference between SPIN3 and 5. And since SPIN3 has a EVO certification, then it has some baseline performance like quick charging, SSD etc. Actually, as a guy who owned many Windows tablets, this kind of devices usually has severe quality issue. From Surface to my SPIN 5 and to some cheap (200 USD) Tablet PC, there's all kinds of unmeasurable quality issue that can't be reviewed simply. Like screen flicker, blur, touch screen malfunction, or even become a brick, within warranty period. (The quality is so poor that device broke down even within 1 year of warranty...)
Thank you for this review! I'm currently attending university for illustration and need something portable to work on projects in class, your in depth review on the display and the stylus was very helpful and definitely sold me on this! very helpful to know the colour quality ill be getting when working on projects
Thanks for these reviews... very useful. If I needed 2 27" HD monitors to run with a laptop what would you recommend? I also need to edit 4k video in davinci resolve and need the highest clock speed that is practical for music production. Suggestions? Thx
I have acer spin 3, but around 6-7 years old version and if the newer version has same issues, I don’t recommend it. Mine keeps showing BOD, gaming is impossible on it, unless you play minesweeper or something classy, bluetooth connection issues, had some wifi connection issues, but managed to fix it. On the other hand, it’s light and has a stunning battery life, I use it as my main laptop for those almost 6 years and still can last a decent amount of time unplugged. If the few issues I had would be resolved and it would have a bit higher specs, and still wouldn’t get too expensive, my other pc def would be acer spin 3.
Hey man, could you please make a review on the acer swift x with the rtx 3050ti and ryzen 7 5800u. The particular configuration you should review is the one with 16gb RAM and 512GB SSD
a good future 5-7 year proof laptop for file management, word/excel/media and web browsing? not a lot of gaming. basic software and smoothness. $500-$900? anyone?
Been looking into the laptop and it's a confusing thing if you care about the pen the most. It states it uses wacom aes 1.0 yet wacom does.not state this computer as compatinle with their bamboo ink pens. It also state wacom feel but there are absolutely zero drivers on their support page... This is incredibly stramge.
Can you please help me decide? I definitely want a 2-in-1 bc I do a lot of writing, note-taking and I can use the tablet conversion when I do small group presentations. I would need a CLEAR camera for recordings and Zoom meetings as well. Other than this, the computer would mostly only be for streaming and social media use. I am learning how to do some light creative work like making brochures, programs and flyers. I do need to be able to work with adobe. I would like to spend less than $1000 is possible. PLEASE help.
I bought this notebook and it is really amazing. The only thing I do not like is the fact that they are using a USB Type C charger. I mean why? USB C is the worst interface ever created and I think this will become a problem in 1-2 years, because USB C ports wear out fast. A 'normal' charging solution would have been much better. It is great that there is still an interface for this, but someone need to buy a new charger. Besides that point this notebook is really worth the money.
i was actually deciding whether to get This or Surface pro 7 with same specs, and obviously, surface's pricepoint is beyond ridiculous, while yes it looks good, it's not justifiable for me. thankyou for this vid, ill be getting this.
