Toonfish95 It works in a weird and inexplicable way. Having played both consoles extensively, i can say I actually prefer the offset sticks. Something about it works, maybe its the d-pad access, since the left stick is always for movement and doesn't require as much accuracy

The Dualshock 4 is equal in my opinion, having used both. The PS3 controller was terrible.

u r aware of the fact that vents on top also prevent u from putting shit on top, the design is so fucking ugly, a gigantic vcr type box with no design aspects that r remotely beautiful fresh or even innovative, the whole look has a retro vibe. i hope that in about 6 months or so they´ll release a new version with a bigger HDD

I'm absolutely not upset at all that they're biased towards the Xbox. I've commented before that it's entirely natural for everybody to at least some bias one way or the other. The thing I get annoyed with are the commenters here who deny that the bias exists, altogether. Comments like, "How can you say they're biased when they bought PS4s!" or "So and so said a positive thing about the PS4, so saying they'er biased is stupid!" and similar comments. RT, and AH, in particular, have a general bias towards Xbox, due to their history. There's nothing wrong with that, but let's not pretend like it doesn't exist.

Give tech designers and engineers the idea that they don't need build quality and that everyone is going to treat the product like an armed bomb, then they will produce an insanely fragile product; cheaper. Hell, treating products like this probably saves on repair costs in the long run. Imagine a console with Nokia 3310 build quality.

This has been said over and over AND OVER again. Xbox one takes commands from the account signed in. If one person is logged into the console, it's vocal commands will only be for that individual.

Leaves plenty of open room inside the console for the HUGE heatsink it has (I'd rather have a well-cooled console than a small one), and means repairs are easier, as you don't have to send the whole console away for a dead PSU.

I don't really care, but the painful manner in which they are impressed by everything is a little annoying. Even the way the damn thing is wrapped is apparently noteworthy. Still, it doesn't change my opinion of them since they are all awesome. And no one really expects 100% unbiased opinion from them.

For the most part i agree its all hype. However, when it comes to tearing and aliaising, the more resolution the better. Also monitors are very different from tvs.

they increase it for the sake of the increase, its not saying its way better but in fact they make it because "they can" thats the principle, and people who do not know what you said, will marvel over the fantastic new upgrades even though they are hardly noticeable

It would be used for playing movies and tv shows on a 4k tv. Games are hardly releasing in 1080p right now. Its good that gave the 4k cable. People said the same thing about bluray a few years ago and now its practically an industry standard.

There's absolutely no way it'll be able to pull off games in 4k, but if you use it as a media center it'll need to be able to play movies, TV, etc in 4k. You have to remember how long the cycle is for these consoles, and I think it's safe to say that within the next couple of years we'll be seeing a lot more 4k TV's and 4k content.

true but that probably isn't as bad as the ps4 straight out of the box and getting the BLOD you know but still very frustrating. at least your game/disc doesn't get ruined with the XB1 tech problems.

***** Well the problems are, in my opinion, just as bad. The reported issues of missing pixels, and spontaneous system shut downs, and disc read problems/noises (either way you can't play anything/enjoy playing anything) would certainly have just as big of an effect on me as the blue light. Still, both launches have come with their share of hardware problems, and the number of affected units on EITHER side have been very small compared to the units sold (and I still haven't seen any numbers posted by Microsoft about this). Yet, when it comes to the xbox on here, I see so much bias and no one even mentions xboxone launch issues. Also, I don't remember reading anything about ruined discs with any of the PS4 issues. I know that was a 360 issue though.
