Achieving Ultimate Goals - Life Lessons of Śravaṇa Nakshatra 

At 37 years old I started meditating, after a life of abuse. The changes in my life and in me was amazing and over the years I awoke to my truth. I educated myself in Science of mind and many healing modalities became a therapist teaching others to realize their truth, and to take responsibility. I am not saying that life experiences, that rocked my boat finished, no they didn’t but I was now aware they was part of my journey, and I started to take responsibility, even more for everything that happened, unlike before meditating I saw myself as a victim. I am now 75 years old and still have many life experiences, as the planetary positions in my chart are crazy sometimes, that purging is a necessity and one of my spiritual tools. But as you was explaining, I’m an old soul that’s walked a long way, shared my journey with others to help them as well as me, but recently I’m getting tired and wanting to leave, well actually begging to leave. So just before your video popped up in front of me ( I’ve just found you, and have been watching a few of your videos) I’d been watching a video by a man who when he was 14 years old now in his 60s, died, and he says went to heaven and it was bliss and he met his grandparents. I thought, if I left earth there’s no one I’m craving to be with, I just want to go to nirvana, back to the Consciousness the Source. I never want to return again to duality, and I’ve been working on being mindful more often lately. So I said to Source , (just before your video appeared in front of me) show me the way I need to go. And there’s your video, 😀. Thank you so much, you are opening up astrology as well for me, giving me a different slant which is helping me see, that no one is their personality, they are the Consciousness, and our thoughts beliefs and the way we act are all to do with the planetary positions. I started with your Capricorn MOON video last week which I have in the 4th house, so you will know what I’ve been through. OUCH! But what you said was learn to relax, meditation had saved me over the years, and brought me many blessings and gifts. It took away the sharpness of life and allowed me get through much better. As a Sravn Moon, constant cynic, almost compulsive in my search for clarity and information. Big efforts going to waste, Prchmanah is something that seems like my remedy of the hour. Thank you Vic, this has been very helpful.

Shravana being a nakshatra of listening (ear), locomotion, sounds connected to the qualities of Vishnu of hearing everything at all times (part of God's ultimate omniscience) and being able to be anywhere anytime to help His devotees. I have Sun & Rahu in Shravana, i find i'm usually in a mode of listening, whether to people, the environment/nature/universe, as if always tuning into the God (Vishnu) for guidance, and that i don't drive but walk Alot, and am always willing to walk/travel the distance to be there for or meet people.

This is so spot on. I have Moon and Saturn here. I have experienced quite a fair share of wandering finding my true life goals . I got the feeling that with this Nak, we are driven by fate to wander several paths until we can finally find out what our soul desires. I think if one does not experience enough, one cannot decide among those things he has tried which one he likes and suits his ability best. Sometimes, we are blinded by our confidence in our own ability. Other times we are confused about what we can do and what we really want to do given our hidden potential that we’ve yet to discover. Anyhow, it is better to march on to that goal. I am currently on my 3rd life path and truly hope that this shall be the one that will carry on until the end. I have my faith no matter what will happen. One thing to shravanas out there, probably many people will intervene and try to convince you to change your paths. Try not get swayed and listen to your own voice. As for the limping part, my mother is the one who has issues with her knees. She has very weak bones. My legs have problems relates to circulation so they tend to swell a little if I have to stand for a long time without resting. I am well aware of the inherent weakness in strength and stamina so I always make sure I religiously do exercises and eat healthily.

How inspiring Vic, my sun and mercury combust in Shravana....... this video has enlightened my path, yet again, the vedas are supreme knowledge for this limping seeker, recovering from crush fracture thoracic spine and learning to live with myeloma.....a finite prognosis. This knowledge allows me to focus my attention on what I can do for these last ten years of my life. I have Shravana moon and Mars tightly conjunct. When I want to learn something (which is every second 🤪) I feel a sense of urgency, like in the end of the video I felt that my entire life has been wasted since I have not come close to learning all the Vedas and experiencing Vishnu although I do know parts of it. When I listen to a song I feel I need to learn every instrument that has been used in that song which is close to impossible since we only have one life, but there is a sense of urgency. The only time I feel envious or something close to jealousy is when I don’t have time to learn new things. Material things don’t phase me. I think 🤔 I am abnormal!!! 😬😬😬😬 I will learn something or the other till my last breath..

This is interesting, rahu sits in sravana within my chart. I actually have a lot of things going on with my legs due to many accidents growing up and tail bone issues. My right leg is almost paralyzed up to the calve and I have an odd little limp. Anytime I am working on sometging that proves too stressful, there go my legs. Its like my body's way of saying "stop being foolish, this isn't for you". I am sure there is more to be observed when you mix in aspects, but just a quick observation. Thanks for sharing Vic!

I have Rahu here with my ascendant ruler Moon in 8th house. When I was very small all I wanted was to be an old lady with white hair. Most of my life has been aimless wandering, as my PTSD has had a power hold over my ability to function (8th house Rahu Moon...). I study and learn compulsively especially about 8th house topics. This makes sense once self-relization occurred, there was nothing I wanted and there really is not worldly motivations left. Even my biggest dreams became irrelevant. There is nothing more than the one and it is all the same at the essence. The individual self is not that important.

I have budh in this star, and I like listening a lot. from last 3 years I started listening to Vedas especially upanashads in Telugu(my mother tongue ) through online audios/videos(may be because of rahu dasha going and ketu on my first house or Rohini moon) and I'm enjoying them a lot, Thank You Vic as all your astrology teachings are directing towards final goal of Vedas .

Moon is Shravna, in the 7th, as a Pushya Ascendant. My Atma is also Saturn, so I am definitely slow moving lol. I have been giving myself the freedom to ask these questions more and more over the past few years, but mostly this year, as I have come into Vedic Astrology. I have always been connected to Consciousness, but my problem was that I was asking the wrong questions and/or have had fear of asking them, and had been wandering…I finally put my foot down this year, and released the fear. Since I have done that, I have gifted so much of a deeper knowledge and understanding of things! Thank you so much Vic! These videos are so powerful and liberating. 🙏🏾

Wow Vic! Thanks. Sravana shows up twice in my chart 7th house RA and Mars. Through an experience of my body moving slowly and actually limping off and on since I was 32 I have had to ask many questions about what is important. I struggle with desires and making goals as what is permanent has clearly been shown to me as pure consciousness.. surrendering to the Divine and being of service to others clearly seeing being the perciever and the perceived .. I really enjoyed this so much! I can see how asking more questions has continued to assist me to have experiences that lead back to consciousness... 💜🕉

the all knowing ascendant, who (worries/plans/questions) about the future that they intend to experience. as in, they are very knowledgeable regarding all the paths that can be walked, but they are constantly thinking, planning and questioning, the path they are on, and the path that they perceive as the ideal path.

My saturn is in the eighth house in this nakshatra with a couple of aspects going in and out of it. As I was sleeping last night, I was contemplating this nakshatra and then remembered that it was next in the Life Lessons series. And sure enough, it popped up in my feed this morning :)

God do I need this so badly in my life, I happen to come across my chart and I realized I have this as my lagna in my D9, which lead me here, I don’t really know all that much about the traditions and lore but I am very curious, people have been telling me to focus for a very long time, but then I wonder on what, and if I focus on the wrong thing and waste time lol. What you said reminded me of when I used to work in parks back in 2009 and I was searching for something spiritually. There was this little library right by my assigned job and I came across the power of now by Eckhart Tolle and he says something similar to what you are saying here. I did experience something profound in that book, it was like I was seeing the true colors of the trees and of everything for the first time and I could see and feel the air, but I knew that there was a me behind the me, watching all that take place. Thing is how to do that when you are getting a job you will hold for a long time, or when you are going through something heavy with people, and when you are trying to leave a mark in the world, how do you make what I experienced and that work together so that you are doing the right thing at the right time and not just wandering? That’s what I have been thinking about

I completely agree about having a goal - as a Sravana sun/Venus I usually work/study quietly, but I don't really have a big specific goal like becoming wealthy or having a family. I just like to live every day & enjoy nature & music and work of course :) I think maybe it also has to do with some of the other planets/ placements in my chart

Dear Vic, thank you for another great video, which I found very insightful. As usual I've connected with the energy of Sravana Nakshatra to find out more. What I discovered is a bit different to what you shared. You see natives of Sravana Nakshatra might feel almost compulsive need, a great desire to learn and possibly also to share / teach. This stems from an inner feeling of lacking, not being / knowing enough and striving for more as to prove ourselves to ourselves or to others. This is the physical manifestation of this energy. However, on the spiritual level this Nakshatra is all about embracing our omnipresence and omniscience. As long as we don't reach this level of conscious comprehension we will drive ourselves nuts with endless studies moving from one source to the next not quite knowing what we can fully trust and never feeling that we know enough. However, by merging the two a person can start to dive into the all-knowing part of self and obtain an access to eternal wisdom.... only then the person can see that learning as such never really happens but instead it is a process of gradual self-realisation.

With my rahu here, I relate to this all too well. I feel so freekin world weary and I ask myself what the hell is left for me to do here. It seems like my path leads over a cliff like there is no where I can go or no real goal or path. Vishnu references has been popping up a lot in my chart. I heard that Scorpio/Vishchicka Lagna have a lot to benefit through Vishnu mantras.

This is my nakshartra ruller in my Aquarius 10th house and also my midheaven.

Thank you so much. I'm actually 20,44,-- cancer moon, ashlesha. And, I recently got to know to study about the nakshatra exactly opposite. So, i came to hear about shravana. And, shravana is what has been happening all the way through. In D9, I have moon in 6,20,-- capricorn. And, I used to play drums during the best semester of my undergrad. So, i think, the sign of cap as a whole is applicable, but shravana and dhanishta cusp and also the 6,20 cap, maybe, in the future more. Been trying to study jyotish officially now. But, idk what to do. Study MS from somewhere in australia or study jyotish in India and stay and solve my karmic baggage which I know is all in me. Feel like I'm still running. Sigh.

I have jupiter here. Maybe thats partly why im always feeling so behooved to listen?

This is very interesting, I have Moon and Jupiter closely conjunct here. I have a never ending keenness in learning everything. I always had interest in learning Vedas but I always skipped it.
