Mushrooms changed my life 15 years ago. For around 2 hours I didn’t know where I was. I was still conscious and I remember praying to god to help me. I saw nothing but geometrical patterns and colours, hard to explain but I felt very alone and scared. I came out of that place after what felt like an eternity and I first remember looking at my hand and moving it in front of me. I saw tracers of my hand but i remember feeling unspeakably excited to be alive! Then for about 4 whole hours at least, I was faced with myself and I couldn’t get out. It was almost worst than the non existing place. I never thought I was a bad person but it kicked my ass hard. I was young so never before had felt empathy or sympathy or regret and submission. It all hit me together as hard as possible and destroyed me. I have a family now and I’m all grown up, but to this day, I try my best to be the best I can. Not because of religion or wherever I go when I die, but because that ego ass whooping was one of the worst things ever. I became self aware after that though and I prompt them to everyone. Maybe I shouldn’t but i notice most people are really rude and not self aware, lol. Shit is scary

One thing I think everyone has experienced when tripping is an intense loneliness that you cannot describe, like you are the only to be and that has ever been. I've tripped at a park where there was thousands of people but I've never felt more alone in my life it's so odd. Alone walking around with You and that voice which is really you talking from another perspective

I fuckin hate this society man I just want to be able to go outside, sit on a hill looking at a beautiful view and smoke some weed, eat shrooms do lsd and all that good stuff without being worried about being arrested or Judged. Fuckin hate it man!

I feel that LSD and DMT 'hallucinations' are very different in nature and how they interact with your mind, consciousness and reality.

Tripped on LSD for the first time this past week. Dosage was 150 micrograms and all I gotta say is WOW. It is just so surreal, pure euphoria. Day's after and I'm still feeling really good. I've gained such an appreciation for this wonderful earth that I never felt before. Lastly, I gotta thank PsychedSubstance for these videos as they truly did help me prepare and plan the trip. I will definitely do it again.

Today I had my first truly ineffable experience through LSD and shrooms combined. I realized, I don't realize shit.

There is this guy who took this purple acid at a Greatful Dead concert. As he sat there with his friend, he say gray aliens sneaking in to the concert, and heading back stage. His friend say, "Dude, did you see that, the Grays are heading back stage." They both saw the same thing.

Tripping has never made me feel more "connected" with anything. Instead, I tend to travel spiritually into myself. It does change reality for a short time with distorted visuals making everything around me quite beautiful. But I always remain aware that what I am experiencing is temporary. I don't come out of the trip with any profound knowledge, but I do feel as though I have gained some sort of internal healing. It's kind of like rewiring my mind to think in a different way about certain aspects of life.

The first time I did LSD I saw religious symbols too coming out of a kaleidoscope like design and rather than think maybe I've been wrong my whole life and I should go to church I thought "So this is where religion came from".

Totally agree about the second part. This is the tragedy of lsd. Within the trip you see and experience things that if you could only share with the world would change humanity, but as soon as its over you have no way to ever communicate anything near what you were exposed to. This really bummed me out once I realized expanding your mind is not the same as expanding your creative genius.

I would say it like this. You are in a room, which is your mind. You are locked inside and only can interact and see through the keyhole with the outer world, the door is your personality. And the key are psychedelic substances. Time is a rope, which always pulls you back into the room. And those people who are labled by society as "insane" were able to cut the rope. They can explore the true world.

One night my friend and I decided to eat about 4 grams each of sum bomb gold caps, we smoked a blunt on the comeup and I couldn’t help but notice these swirls everywhere, it was mind blowing it was like tiny portals everywhere, well my friend was next to me and as I was going to tell him about what I was seeing he cut me off mid sentence before I could say and made a hand gesture and said “ you see those swirls too huh” after that I knew shrooms or any psych exposes the side of reality tht is all around us but not accessible with our third eyes closed

I tried shrooms for the first time today.. I took 1/8th and it was the first psychedelic and I lost a lot of people.. I don't understand why everyone is hating on me because of it like really what is the big deal, my girlfriend left me and also my best friend. Two people that I never thought would leave.

I feel like our perception is slightly, "altered" when under the influence of a psychedelic, we are able to feel different vibes and see things differently, maybe being sober is just another way to perceive the world

My phone ife and I smoke weed on the regular and love to share our experiences with each other but we can never truly explain some of the things that go through our minds! It's kind of annoying, but I think you just solve the question of why we can't always put our trips into words...(that make sense anyways) your so detailed and descriptive with your analysis everytime you make a video it baffles us! we really have been thinking of trying psychedelics after hearing about how well they help with anxiety disorders and overcoming mental obstacle...what your doing with these videos has helped my wife and I find peace of mind and we love and support the fact that you take your personal time to teach and educate not only us but yourself at the same time. I'm a witch (pagan) and I've done Ayahuasca and recently tried pure dmt and honestly...my head is totally fucked. Like dmt was so bizarre and so unlike anything I've ever experienced that I'm not sure what to feel about it. It's like Terrence McKenna says that the dmt world is like nothing we might find in mythology or psychology or symbolism, it's so far removed and alien. I got the feeling that THAT was the ultimate reality, but where the hell do we fit into that? Do our primitive and short sighted beliefs even matter in the face of such a reality?

One of the "truths" I've found out is that we're all without a doubt in a simulated reality. May or may not actually be true...But I've always been really scared about the possibility. Through my trip I was able to face that fear head on and come to terms with it.

You couldn't of explained it any better, I had a 'bad' trip the other day and I felt like nothing would make it better. My ego completely shattered, I died over and over again. I was crying so much like I literally have to just sit through this and so I wrote while tripping pouring my soul out on paper. In no way was this a bad trip though, it was more like an extremely tough learning experience. I love your channel so much and you explain everything so well and KNOW what you're talking about. Perfect video, just had my first lsd trip, i have been on this journey for a very long time... what you said at the end about death and limbo and being stuck in the cycle. I have had the exact same experiences on salvia and now lsd, the difference is that I do not have that fear in everyday life. Does anyone else experience some sort of visuals on cannabis? Sometimes I have had more intense visuals at certain points of a thc high then I've had on normal doeses of LSD

N2o and lsd anyone? Experiences? It's a wild ride....but the factor I am thinking about here is Ego. It seems to bring the ego back from the darkness. Almost makes one self-conscious. Is this because the brain dissolves out of consciousness the ego tries to hang on? It's a very interesting feeling and one that brings some very intense visuals far more intense than LSD by itself

I've had CRAZY/"educational" trips. A lot of things that alan watts talks about in his videos is what pops into my brain. I tripped before watching alan watts and when I watched his stuff, it like he was a translator for my trips!

Oh my days. When I first tripped, I just remember that at the most intense point, just moments before what felt like a rubber band snapping back. I moved away from my friends in the same room and just started repeating to myself "it's just a simulation, it's just a simulation, i'm confused, it's all scripted.. it's all scripted, it's all scripted" I was freaking out. Then I became comfortable with the idea then I realise that "it had all happened before, and is going to happen again". I thought that we had finally hit the final point in time and everything was going to suddenly reversing rapidly (not unlike a rubber band snapping back). I can not explain what I experienced next at all. I left my friends house and got a lift home. Those few moments leading up to this are so inexplicable to me and still confuse me, it would be great to see what actually happened. What I thought was going to happen began as a nightmare, somehow I managed to not only calm down, but accept it, I had become comfortable with it. My phone rang indicating that it was time to go. The moment this happened was when things got really weird for me as I experienced everything moving backwards. What I saw and experienced was happening in reverse.. I don't know if I really did walk backwards throughout my friends house without bumping in to anything and I don't know if I managed to gather all of my things this way. Everything felt like it had a rhythm to it, and I thought that my friends were either aware of what was happening too, or they didn't exist. The second I got outside it was a strange feeling, a weird clarity. I can only compare it to a type of scene in films that I can't quite place at the moment but basically all background noise disappeared, with the sound of my own footsteps becoming enhanced, like when somebody is in an ethereal plane and they are walking to meet their maker. I wasn't told were my lift was waiting but they were in fact halfway down the road, on the other side. I didn't even consciously notice the car as the road was full of parked cars. Yet I felt I knew exactly where it was and walked confidently to it without thinking about it. I stepped into the car believing that this was the lifting of the veil. I stepped into the car and suddenly everything was kind of normal again. I was skeptical and over the course of the next hour or so I became more and more lucid. Such a weird experience. Hope my writing wasn't too sloppy.

I want to share something because you are helping me at a rough time in my life. I am a 31 year old retired army veteran. I was injured which is why I'm retired so young. I have PTSD and have been taking a handful of pills every day several times a day since 2012 and while they are designed to help they are not making me a better person, just more "normal". I have recently been able to gain relief through the use of marijuana and it has been a wonderful help. I have been thinking about Ayahuasca as a means of seeking the truth and revelation I am seeking to become more at peace. It is not an option because I am on MAOI inhibitors which I have read is deadly to combine with DMT. I am going to grow my own mushrooms and experiment to hopefully find some sense of peace. Watching your videos, hearing your experiences, is helping me to understand what to expect in a full psychedelic trip. Not only that but is giving me a greater application for hallucinagenic substances. Thank you for the therapy you have provided me with your knowledge through life. Keep up the great services, you are a blessing.

it bothers me so much when people say things like “the trip just exaggerated what you already believe or know about”. i grew up in a christian family and genuinely had never heard about any aspect of hinduism or budhism or any other spiritual concepts - ever, and when i started taking LSD and had gathered up so many beliefs that i came to the conclusion of by myself (with the help of LSD) that registered in my mind as objective universal truths, only to eventually, much later on, start looking up these ideas to see if i was just crazy or if anybody else believes these same things to find out that i had learned the major aspects of budhism, hinduism, etc, all by myself. i genuinely don’t understand why so many people have these same life changing realizations on psychedelics, just to come down and start desperately trying to write it off like their lives depend on these realizations just being silly little pointless trippy thoughts and nothing more. just LET GO, there’s not much of a point in taking psychedelics if you’re not willing to let go of what you think reality is and let go of who you think you are. just let gooooooo :D

Having an LSD trip, even on 110ug, opened me up to the fact things may be 1 trillion times different outside of my own subjective consciousness. I guess it was because of the fact I was seeing things from a such vastly different perspective that opened my eyes up. It was a scary realisation. Luckily, it didn't stick with me for long and I just sort of accepted the fact it was a possibility. Other people can have lifelong effects from revelations like that.

I was tripping LSD with my friend for his first time when he started to have a random panic attack because of how overwhelming the experience was. When I played some calm music, he came out of it and had the most meaningful experience of his life. He understood why hardships had to happen sometimes in order to reach the best result.

The more you elevate the frequency of the life, the more understanding coming.

Yes Adam! I agree with you on every one of your points. John Locke referred to the base-level awareness of everyone being the same self as tabula rasa, latin for blank slate, and all that we consider the self is based on our sensory experience. I truely believe that psychedelics can put you more in touch with how we all once were before the harshness/pleasures of our reality. Great video!

My mom became a Christian because of a bad acid trip and that decision has literally impacted my life for my entire life (VERY religious, to this day, she quit drugs because she had a religious trip and woke up in a church parking lot, the very church I spent most of my life attending). Great that she got off drugs, I wasn’t born then but I’ve been told by her and other family members about her battle with drug addiction. She doesn’t so much as drink these days, never has as long as I’ve known her. So it was good for her in some ways, but it really fucked her up in others.
