Not just the acolyte. Star Wars in general needs to come to an end. As a 1st generation fan who waited in line in 1977, multiple times. I'm done. Actually, I've been done since 2015 when 7 came out, walked out of it. Now, I'm just toasting marshmallows on the embers, laughing at the demise of what, let's be honest, is just a glorified toy commercial.

Fuck me, that reviewer is some young gay guy. I WAS THERE in 1977, and I haven't "seen too many things like it", I haven't seen ANY MORE of it! That's the fucking problem! That's the fundamental problem. We all want to see a positive show about good morals with likeable, fun, interesting and charismatic characters. Thinking back to that day in 2015, when I walked out of episode 7..... The crashed star destroyer at the beginning of the movie.... What a perfect metaphor of what Star Wars had become, what Disney had planned for us. I new it was over then. I stopped clinging to the toys I had enjoyed since 1977, and sought broader horizons in the sci-fi/fantasy multiverse. This,LOL, is no surprise. Who DIDN'T have a bad feeling when Lucas sold out? I didn't hav ehigh expectations when I walked in to episode 7, "the Adventures of Mary Sue Palpatine and Duck Vader" I have no ill will to other fans, it takes time to make peace with loss, but it does happen, and we move on. it's ok. You can let go now, just let it sink.
