Hey Shantanu, I recently came across this Podcast. This is one of the best podcasts to hear to.. its "Binge hear" worthy. I have been listening to these things from US /UK perspective.. but to listen to the Indian Entrepreneurs is right on time with India growing at double digits and so cool anyway. Will keep cheering for you!
Bhavnas point on flexibility , "know the goal, have the intention but not married to the path " beautifully captures it . Shantanu thanks for this interview .
I really loved this episode. I just love how fearless and confident she is. Thank you for featuring Bhavna because it inspires women and incoming generation. Please interview more women entrepreneurs/achievers. Me, personally, get inspired by listening to Ankur or Aman, but the stories of Bhavna, Nikhat Zareen, Leena Nair and so, hits very differently. I am sure there will be other girls like me.
I agree your word but why you need to inspiration and wating for inspires women entrepreneurs. Just jump in this field yourself and enjoy the journey don't think so much.
I like how badass Bhavna is in her approach. She calls out BS easily and does not feel the necessity to be politically polite, especially the point on $1M to $1B clubs. Maybe its due to not having to work in a corporate environment for long. But for someone who grew up in a protective environment, her confidence and risk taking appetite is through the roof. Respect maxx
Hearing Bhavna talk about women and the fact that the problem is more systemic is actually true because women even today are being brought up with the idea of handsome prince whisking them away to happiness eternity. The way our matrimonial ads are written even today are a testimony for it. Have watched all the episodes barring one and they have all been kickass. But this has been the best. Thanks for putting this together!
Hey Shantanu, idk if you're reading this or not. I absolutely love the podcasts, these are genuinely so real and are the best podcasts that I have came across where founders are genuinely comfortable and expressive. Not hyping, but genuinely just love all the podcasts that you're putting out, really loved the Ashish one.
loved loved loved this episode, love her and that fearless attitude. my favourite was somebody has got to do it, so why not you, definitely resonate with that a lot, but overall there are so many more favourite parts, cant pick one! thanks for bringing this to us. Huge fan of her. so fearless
This is such a great episode. Her story, conviction and facts are so commendable. Special mention - the part u spoke about women and conditioning is spot on. 👏
Great episode! Wonderful insights. And the conversation really opened a lot of thoughts. In the spirit of hoping for more people to be entrepreneurial, (and more women in the ecosystem) hope to see many more women founders and angel investors/ VCs be your guests. Will be great to learn the realness through these podcasts.
So inspiring and thought provoking. There's so many takeaways from this episode. Bhavna is such a powerhouse. ☀️ Binge watching without guilt! Absolute pleasure. Also, please continue with your linkedin posts, Shantanu.. We love it! 👍
I’m from Ramaiah - Mech as well. What she said about being a “Gangster” college is true. :) What I like about your podcast, Shantanu - you bring in people from diverse backgrounds to tell their stories, it almost demystifies success.
Great podcast - With no repeat frequency, high shipping cost for low ATV household products - what does customer really care for? Is it primarily a function of reviews, ratings and performance marketing? What is the online household market share as % of overall market? Bhavna - Would love to catch-up when you are back to Dubai for coffee.
Great stuff dude! I think the editing could use a little more work, certain cuts that were a second too early / a second too late - but I loved the content :) Very excited for the next episode
Bro improve the asthetics put a wall a decorated partition or something behind the guest or shift the guest in your chair it was distracting for a while there were ppl moving and honestly great podcast but yeah just a suggestion 👍
I think she is building a company like constellation software it acquires tech/software companies and the provide all the services under one name. It’s a big market with huge potential.
hey shantanu, pls share how and when you developed such great communication skills. the phrases you use are always so apt. pls share some guidance for a student. thanks :)
He is trying so much to put her in a box by saying 1 mil 10 mil etc slabs or by showing variables in her businesses but again all in vain ! She's killed it !! After watching this, It will take guts for other youtubers to call her on their shows !
When founders talk, ALWAYS remember we’re on the same side. Even if we’re competitors, we’re hyping each other up. Founders before anyone else. Always.
I find it I interesting and very intelligent to realise that she has gone a way where she knows she doesn’t have to go in building a brand. Brand building is a rat race today and people hav very limited memory to remember from so many choices. She just focuses on making money and takes risk on very detailed concepts majores in lifestyles and targets local markets. Der might b no brand but she is a smart and understands flow of money
Hi Shantanu , I am a very new VC but do people really invest based on the gender? Also if someone assesses the business in that manner are you not better off without the money ?
Im not sure we are opposites, the both of us dont shy away from speaking our truth. That does make us more similar - our opinions may differ but we do seem like individuals open to others and their point of view
@@bhavnasuresh2411 Completely agree with you! And truly, deeply appreciate the openness and respect for a different POV or opinion! Such a well executed honest conversation! Kudos!
@@shantanudeshpande I'm also running a small manufacturing business and you can't believe how much your episodes are inspiring me to do better and make it big. Thank you :)
Shantanu is like : shit why did not i get this idea or dared to try this model ! And it shows that shantanu's ego is hurt as to how a girl can do all these stuff and with such crazy innovative approach of burning less money etc etc But good that he got hurt so he tried to grill her to find loopholes in her model and fell flat on his face giving us superb insights !!! Kudos to u Bhavana .. pls go to all youtubers and share your story to inspire all the girls out there !!
Why do we need "representation". Has the quota system actually helped? I wish brains were considered genderless. Bodies have gender...but I often wonder if brains do.
The lady seems to be in a self glorification mode. Don't get me wrong, Im not telling she got it easy but the "men have it easy" is being thrown around so much and these days it is no longer true or relevant.
