I have no words...I am obsessed with your alcohol and acrylic paint technique. I have an appointment in a little bit but as soon as I get back home, I’m running to my craft room to give this a go. I must sound like a broken record but thank you again for sharing your brilliant ideas with us💕

What a brilliant effect the alcohol has on the paint. Looks so good.

OH! I LOVE this color combo! Interesting that when the pink dried it got so dark.And as you move the pages back and forth, they sound so YUM! Great page so many wonderful layers!

I tried this technique last night and I love love love it!I can't stop touching my book. I love the way the different textures feel. I keep opening my hidden compartment too - like there's going to be something different in it each time. LOL

....i am so in love with all these fantastic and delicious colors !!....turkis and magenta ..oh ...how beatifull ! ...i can watch for hours like the colors make Bubbles and lakes... so relaxing!...ready to jump in ... thank you so much for showing ...

No really sure how I missed this video- but wowza!! Full of little treasurers of info!!! I tend to use acrylics more than watercolor- I just don't like how the watercolor moves when I add more to it- including the focal points---well, this sure solves that problem!! A little dry time involved- but the delish background is so worth it!!

Wow, it turned out very beautiful. Love the extra pen tangles. Wouldn't it be fun if you had a RU-vid of all the people who submitted work that was inspired by you. I saw it done on another persons RU-vid page. Just keep telling people to send them to you, once you have enough, you can show them off.

I have everything for this one except the white pen but I'll figure something out. Just picked up the 99% alcohol at the drugstore. Think this is a good one to start. BTW, I was out to the thrift store to pick up some cards and magazines the other day and I can across a pack of playing cards with a cool picture on the front of the card. There, right in the middle of the picture was, "Mr. Undies". Well, you know what I thought of so I just added the s to make it Mrs. lol Will have to post a pic to you. As always, really enjoyed this one. TFS.

Got it accomplished this time. Bought some 91% alcohol and also used lots more water mixed with the acrylic. I am thrilled with the outcome! I want to send you pictures! Where do I send them?

this is a hard technique. I tried to do it with acrylic watercolor and alcohol

Lorri Marie, I just tried this and it didn't work at all. I only had 70% alcohol. I don't know if that is the reason or if I didn't get my acrylics "juicy" enough with water..... What do you think? Lorri Diane

I made the acrylic too thick. it did not work well.

Have you ever tried this technique with India inks and alcohol on yupo paper? It is also so beautiful. I love the unpredictability of techniques like this. I used to be afraid of water colors when I was younger. Now, I love them. I even started a new journal layout after watching all day yesterday. imgur.com/BMcU7iX I am hoping to draw a woman of civil war period with a bold red dress on it. I definitely want to keep most of the background visible through whatever else I do to it. I love how it turned out. Back to binge watching your channel now. Sorry so wordy. LOL!
